  So, there are two train stations: one servicing the area and another that connects with Paris? Is it possible to take day trips from Tours to Chinon and Saumur? And are there tours to go to Amboise and Chenonceaux? I think I would like to make Tours my base the next time I visit France.

  Tours is a great place to base yourself, so much to do - trains are available from Tours to all destinations you mention and more. www.thetrainline.com/en/stations/tours Check Viator for organised tours to the Chateaux’s.

  Hi! Is the elevator also accessible coming from Gare du Nord or do we need the pin to use it? Will be coming from that train station. Great video, thanks!

  Hi Yes, the lift can be accessed from Gard du Nord, its about 300m flat walk on the left hand side as you exit the station. Best to contact the hotel beforehand, for the pin number. We are pleased you enjoyed our video. Enjoy your stay. 😃

  The reason for the "half price" is because you had a seat in the cabin with row 19-22? If so, that's their kind of the unofficial "economy plus" cabin on the 777-300ER. We get that if we book economy plus, premium economy etc. from Europe to BKK.

  So pleased you enjoyed the video. The hotel is very secure. The surrounding area is well lit and busy. Never felt unsafe as we walked around in the evening. There is no noise at all from the surrounding terminals. In fact the hotel is located in a quiet area. We were very happy choosing this hotel 😀

  You will love this Suite, we have stayed in it a few times. We find the bed comfy. Ask the steward to change the pillows and mattress topper if not comfy for you. Hope you enjoy, let us know how you go.

  Hi guys looks like we are doing the same flight via Muscat with a 14 hr layover starting at midnight. I am tossing up between trying to book a sleeping room or just paying for the aerotel room . Did you get a look at the sleeping rooms?

  Hi Sue, We did see the business class lounge sleeping rooms, they are private areas separated by curtains. The area has a bed/lounge and a chair and seemed adequate for a sleep/rest. We did chat to another traveller who had to wait for a room to become available. We are unsure how to reserve or how long you can reserve the space for, we think it may be first come first served. The shower areas are very good to freshen up. We booked a 12hr stay at the Muscat Aerotel through Expedia and would highly recommend this, as 14 hrs is a long layover. The rooms are lovely (see our video on Muscat Aerotel). We liked that check out wasn’t until midday, so we could enjoy browsing around the airport without dragging our luggage with us. We booked breakfast with the hotel but it was wasted as Oman air business class lounge has a wonderful breakfast. Hope you have a wonderful trip, you will love Oman Air. We would love to hear feedback on what you chose and how it went. Please feel free to contact us if you have any more questions with regards to your travels.

  Hi We usually use 3 different sites for booking and choosing our accommodation. 1. Booking.com 2. Expedia 3. Stayz Once you have chosen your accommodation, sometimes you can get a better rate by contacting the apartment owners direct. Good luck finding the right place for your family.
