As a Mexican i hope that they delve deeper into their own Mexican musical heritage. I would love to hear how they interpret and cover some of the classic Mexican icons and songs from "latinamerica" Unfortunately it IS true that they are somewhat disconnected from their Mexican culture when it comes the musical aspect. However, they are not the ones to be blamed for how their parents raised them when it comes to musical preferences. Personally i applaud them for at least trying to sing and compose in spanish. What we as mexican society can and should work on is for our future generation of youth to break with the vicious cycle of malinchista tendencies in their own parenting. I am still waiting for the day when Mexicans proudly and publicly reference their own people as idols and role models instead of outside impositions and influences being their principal and constant reference As Mexicans we can sing in spanish english or whatever. That is not the issue. The issue is whether one is firmly grounded in ones own identity and culture and the normalization of assimilation and acculturation only contributes to the degradation and destruction of that Breaking stereotypes or gaining a place in the mainstream and colonial system doesnt have to come at the expense of Mexican peoples essence, culture and identity
Do the interviewers ever do any prep? Hot Ones seems to be the only ones who reserch an interview.
only 1 reaction for so much girl power...? deserves more...
let him speak?
Also quick correction from my part: Varang Nord is from Daugavpils, LV.
Hey I know those guys
No you don’t
Hope more people get to know Sylvaine. I just found them out watching their set on Hellfest. Great artist.
F.A.F.O is not only my favorite song on Toxic Grace but it's my favorite song of 2024 PERIOD. Reverie and Fear Porn round out my top 3 songs off Toxic Grace.🤘 Incredible album. I prefer it slightly more to United States Of Anarchy which is a great album that I also love. Evildead are as consistent as it gets and always deliver the Thrash goods.
NATIVE BLOOD ✝️🪶✝️
GOOD INTERVIEWER!!! I’m at the 2 minute mark and I’m already happy the interviewer isn’t asking the same questions all the time in the same way like I’ve seen in other interviews. Love it!
Mate, learn the band name 😡
I have seen some dfferent interviews with him. He comes over like a relaxed, sympatic, down to earth guy. And on stage midnight only want to rock the house. Great live band.
🤘🏻🔪🔪🔪🤘🏻
Appreciate the interview, well done! Oceano is one HEAVY band, way too underrated. Looking forward to new material.
hope he didn't totally got rid of his long hair
As much respect as I have for all the musicians, Kayo Dot kust isn't as impactful musically as Maudlin of the Well was. Had the style of Maudlin of the Well (Circa 2001) would have been kept going they would have easily booked big festivals and tours.
I’m sorry I illegally downloaded your albums when I was younger I did buy them when I was older 😃
Massive sound with such power behind their production, both live and in the studio. If you haven't had the chance, go check them out ASAP!
great interweiv with great band!
So ready for this new album. The 2 newest singles are so so killer!
Super cool interview, Alex seems like such a chill dude
This was one of the best interviews from a music/ artistry perspective I’ve ever heard. Great questions.
RESPECT !!!!👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏🤘🤘🤘🔥
Manual manic babble.
I discovered Forbidden when Twisted into form came out. I went to a gig in riverside California at spankys Cafe & was sitting outside waiting to get in & I remember Russ & Craig walked by saying hi to my buddy & I asking if we needed tickets to get in. Friggin super cool to do so. I was personally looking more forward to seeing Sanctuary who were opening up for them but after seeing Forbidden live that night they kicked my ass & Russ just cranked it out. Still to this day one of the most memorable & favorite of the 335 paid concerts I've been too. Sanctuary has been from day one to be one of my top bands in my life at that time & from that night on Forbidden was right there next to them. Love you guys. In fact, I believe Forbidden (after seeing alll the big four bands live) are technically better. The chops the groove...just simply better. & I feel OVERKILL are better than the big four also imo. Prove me wrong. Lol I can't wait to see Forbidden live again with the new singer. Seen video of him singing my favorite songs & him hitting pertinent highs that makes THAT song. Sadly Russ just can't do that anymore & I hope & pray Russ doesn't go the way of Warrell Dane. I hope he gets himself well.
Great interview mate. Adam is a great frontman! Greetings from Brazil! I know this could be a long shot but I hope to see these guys around here soon.
Wow, what depth in the questions, very interessting 🤟
My favorite band \m/ happy birthday Chuck
i love the cosmic black metal with electronic ambience avant gaurde like someone had a recording studio out in space
Great interview, there were some really interesting and thought provoking questions! Time for me to go and listen to the album again :D
Love the new Evildead album Toxic Grace. 2024 continues to be a great year for thrash.🤘

Oh, I thought this was an interview with The Guess Who. Who are these clowns?
Just saw them in San Diego. They slayed, but it was too short. I was sad I only caught part of Street Tombs. I thought they were going on right before Necrot. They were very good as well. I didn't like BAT at all.
Electrified Brain is killer! Thrash AF! Love it!
Great questions on his creative process!
Wonderful interview. Always a delight to see and hear Nadia✨i love the part about embracing mistakes! Looking forward to the new song
Thanks for watching! 💚
Nadia 🖤
Hey Tyler! 🌹
Thank you Alex! 💚

DUCKIN the DAWG!! DUCKIN the DAWG!!
I wonder why this is not simply another Barren Earth album? I realise this stuff would be too extreme (in the sense of too experimental) for Amorphis, but why not BE? Also, would love Oli composing more for Amorphis.
He definitely should compose more themes for Amorphis, he has a more fresh and original vision of music, with all respect to Santeri and Esa, they are already repeating themselves
Great interview. My favourite heavy metal band ever \m/
Death Metal is a barometer for the worlds’ pressures and crap that needs an outlet. Great interview!!!
Ah hell yes remember meeting you at the Soulfly / kataklysm show at the Grammercy around 2019. Great to see you putting out quality content like this! Always enjoy seeing Peter’s interviews
Great interview 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Regarding the California song topic, as a Baja California (Mexican's border state with California, US) resident it was fun to listen to the phrase "California falls into the sea" because when growing up all children here are taught about the San Andreas fault and there's like an urban myth around it which says the peninsula is suddenly ―and I say it's a myth because it's definitely gonna happen but not all of a sudden― going to be torn away from the continent. Really enjoyable interview, thank you!!
This band is incredible. Watched them live a few weeks ago and they did not fail to impress.
These guys are one of the best bands I've ever seen live and I've seen almost every fucking band you can imagine
Evan Williams hat ftw
