  Great insight from Minhaj bhai, although I disagree about the sport being about a 'pro'. College sports is huge in America and while they are on their way to becoming pros, they are not pros yet and people follow them and their teams religiously. In golf, elite amateur players are taken very seriously; if we think about elite amateurs in Pakistan, they have the potential to become elite amateurs in the world, it just requires some sports psychology and proper training/coaching!

  Just adding: international matches are hosting players with breakfast and lunch and a very lavish one, and players don't pay for it, in fact it's open for caddies and lil bit if connected people like the physio around the other teams associated, I'm taking this from experience playing in 3 ADT matches ( ahmed was besides me playing those matches, I payed as an amateur just lucky to get a spot in ) also I'm talking from experience of caddying LIV player Kieran Vincent, I caddied him in Asian Tour match ، conclusion: lunch n breakfast and on filed refreshment are an absolute must n for free on these international matches

  Excellent podcast. Learned lots of inside stuff behind tournaments. All courses should prepare their Course Guide booklets, which PGF should approve. Also, since you guys are closer to PGF, please start discussing introducing an online Tee Time booking system for at least all major courses across Pakistan. And yes, please bring Shabir Iqbal to your next podcast. I was fortunate enough to play a few holes with him at Butterfly Golf Club in Bahria Phase 7, a few years back.

  I am in no way close to PGF.. clearly not on their radar. Online tee times would be the prerogative of individual courses. I agree they should be implemented. And thanks for your kind words. Hopefully Shabbir accepts our invite.

  Aadil Ka point yeh nahi hai. Prize money increase huwa hai pros ki after game level improve huwi hai. He says keh junior pros hotay hi 10-15 hai in a match. Zyada hoon ge, better score ho ga tou prize money bhi better ho jaye gi. Usko better karne ke liye jinnah tour ke saath merge kar dena chahye. I agree with him

  Shafiq Masih is the in house Pro teacher at the Range near my house. I took lessons from him last year and the improvement in my game was instance! Great teacher and an awesome human being!!!

  Yes Shafiq is teacher to many a golfers. However we would like to see an organized structure of coaching rather than single pros making it a one-man business. Use the same pros but in a professional structure

  Not sure about the Korn ferry tour.. for the Asian Tour, Ahmed needs to finish in the Top 10 of the Asian Development Tour this year and he will qualify for the Asian circuit next year IA. Currently he is ranked #1 on the ADT.
