Awwww... I carried my"baby weight" the same way. You look amazing!!! I didn't have G.B. with all 5 pregnancies, but I was SOOOO close every checkup that I had to follow a VERY strict diet and bed rest. I love that you're sharing this for all the new moms. Epidural was my best choice 4 outta 5 kids. Natural was NOT FOR ME. Sending love n blessings to ya'll. ❤

I’ve had three kids and 100% do NOT agree that “once you get to 6cm it doesn’t get worse.” With my last baby I was literally 8-9cm before I was in active labor. And with my first two, it 100% got worse after 6cm. P.s. I don’t say any of this to worry you. Just want you to have a heads up that what you were told wasn’t super accurate.

Have her come meet the baby at the hospital if possible! Having my first born meet the baby in the hospital was absolutely the most moving moments and I have a picture of my son that instantly climbed in the bed to hug me and met baby brother for the first time and it's my most treasured picture!

I’m on my 34th week. I’m due July 12 but due to gestational diabetes, the baby is a bit on the larger side. I’m scheduling a c section, and hopefully they’ll let me go at least to 39 weeks.

Did you get a belly band at Velcro around the bottom of your belly and it holds your belly up? It really does help your pelvis from hurting as bad. Ask your doctor where to get a belly band.

My first two kids, I had the epidural, but I have a curve at my lower spine, which made it very difficult for them to get the needle in the right place. My third and last child ,I went au natural and it was THE best experience! Now, my baby is 41, so back then, we didn't have all the fancy stuff, but it was still the best! You can do it, Devin! ❤

Awesome! Wanted to let you know i was able to go without an epidural for both of my boys birth. But due to my blood pressure needed to be “induced” both times. I had pitocin the first time to start my labor. The second time: My midwife said because it was my second child they might be able to kick start my labor by having me use a breast pump and walk. It worked and defiantly was a less painful labor without pit. Just thought i’d pass it along in case you could talk to your provider about that as an option. You got this, Mama!

Devin, my first two births were all natural, no meds, no induction. Both boys were 9LB babies, and everything was normal. 8 years later, my surprise baby, a girl, 8LBS, I was induced with no epidural because my water broke at 37 weeks and my body did not want to go into labor. I only had two shots of Stadol to help me get through. I thought I was going to die, but the Stadol really helped! Labor was 26 hours, and being induced was MUCH more difficult than natural labor! Believe me! My third baby was definitely more difficult. Being induced is much more painful and difficult than natural labor. So you do you!

Crazy, my due date with my youngest was August 3 and i wound up getting induced at 36 weeks after a 9 day stay in the hospital and an amniocentesis to make sure her lungs were fully developed, all due to unexplained bleeding that occurred the night of the Fourth of July but only that night it was weird anyway she was born 5 lbs. 13 oz. on July 14. She is now 17 years old just graduated high school and never had any major health concerns her whole life. Thank God! congratulations and good luck to you and baby. Wishing y’all the best.

I had no epidural the first time and I'm due TODAY with my second; and yes you can do it! But just remember we are made to do this in Christ alone. He's all you need. We can endure long, and suffer long. You can do it with His strength. My pastor said to say Don't say: God won't give me anything I can't handle... Say: He will give me things I CANT HANDLE, so I will be prone to run to Him who can! You can physically do it natural threw pain so don't let the world tell you can't. Just look into other things to help you relax for the physical and pray and surrender the spiritual/ mental part ❤
