A few years ago (20)we visited Bansko via Plovdiv. Communism and mafia seemed to be the main things holding the average Bulgarian back from being entrepreneurs. Like you we experienced cows and dods roaming the street which had most of its grates missing. The hotel we were in was good quality but the staff were not used to hospitality standards. One example was lighting a log fire in the hotel lounge using a can of paraffin which stank the whole hotel out. The people though were very freindly and I thought the exchange of red string wristbands to loved ones at easter was very endearing.

As Bulgarian - this video is shot in/around Varna city. I personally think Burgas city on southern seaside to be better developed and beautiful. I personally live in Sofia. Bulgaria has a lot of mountains and forests. We are a nation that loves hiking a lot!

Phnom Penh, Cambodia has a seemingly endless supply of affordable dentists. There are a lot of high quality clinics with low prices. I don't know the price of implants. My British friend got a mouth full of implants done in Croatia, where she felt the value and quality was good.

Thankyou Jim,you are so right in everything you say,great video too.i have lived in Bulgaria since 2015,I renovated a house and like you say the people around you just want to help,the first day I moved in people sending me fruit etc.how wonderful is that,i feel alive and healthy when in Bulgaria, with no stress what so ever,I agree with you Jim Bulgaria is a very good place to relocate I did and never looked back.well done sir for letting the world know about this amazing Country Called Bulgaria. 😊
