  The spider support started to fall on my Miele W5478 but was 10 years old Miele wrote it off and wouldn’t fix it even though it was totally fixable…

  @@everybodyneedsadaveI get that but isn’t that what I paid insurance for ?? I got a LG turbowash360 10kg now and it washes a lot better than the Miele and is a lot quieter but it wasn’t loud before the drum started to go. Thought it was meant to last 20 years they say but mine wasn’t the case… 😕 But happy with my new one.

  Great video. You said it was thenchain tensioner, but what was wrong with it, did you not get a new replacement in the kit?

  Yes you get tensioner/ guides and sprockets

  Check your long and short term fuel trims using obd diagnostic tool that looks like a rich condition to me. Does it smell eggy? U might have a bad upstream o2 sensor

  Try using one of those maguiars car bombs to get rid of the ciggy smell. I had a mate buy a car from a dog owner and he said that cleared the smell up for him. I think it only takes about 10 minutes from start to finish too

  Can I ask a question, the back infared when it's on can u hear a hissing sound. Even after it's lit? The side infared doesn't do it but I seen there is a gold valve at the back and it's got 4 holes on it. Thinking they are meant to be?

  To make an espresso coffee, water is heated and pushed through ground coffee at a really high pressure. If the coffee grind is too coarse, the water will rush straight through and you'll end up with a very watery coffee, but if it's ground finely a whole world of delicious coffee awaits.

  You did more dismantling than may be needed. In order to remove the front of the machine you do not need to remove the control panel. Take out the screws holding the door lock and the Torx 30 below the door. Remove the seal spring as shown and the two screws at the bottom of the front The front will them drop down and clear the pins holding it at the top.

  Just done one, horrible design, who would design a chain tensioner without a ratchet, stupidity at it's finest. Probably ratling as got low oil pressure, did you clean the sump , pickup checked ? Mine worked excellent after the replacement, but it is quite a junky car overall.

  Yes we bought as my wife struggled with the manual jack the other day. When home I have professional trolley jack. Never used the balloons type must try one day 👍

  I seem to recall quite a few years back that an inflatable balloon could be placed under the car, within reason, as it spread the load, it could be positioned anywhere. Scissor jacks were always useful although in my enthusiast days had a nice trolley jack.

  We just replaced the two Friction Dampers, Shaft Seal and the V-Belt. All purchased from Miele for our W1213 washer. We were so happy until we tried to turn it on. The beeper was repeatedly beeping and the display showed - - -. We never touched any part of the digital control panel so we cannot figure this out. We took pictures as we took everything apart. Can you help us figure this out? Thank you very much, Donna Mc
