  Yeah, anytime I see "remove this exhaust part", I know I'm in for a very bad time. Kudos to you for getting that apart w/o shearing the bolts. I'd rather take half the front suspension apart than touch rusted, heat seized exhaust bolts.

  Rack and pinion lowered is alot easier than dealing with a rusty exhaust or steering shaft.

  I had mine wired to a foot switch that I mounted to my dead pedal. You may not have a horn but the factory wires should still be there. Just have to locate them and install horns.

  I just did this job if you have headers you won't have to take exhaust off. You just have to move shift cable and a/c line and slide starter right out. But that's only if you have headers.

  First off you don’t remove the steering column you just take out one bolt from the bottom. This is definitely not the easiest way to do it...😂 you can tell that from the 1st min of the vid🤦‍♂️

  If you're exhaust bolts are all rusted out, please don't attempt this. Just take the steering column out. Which imo is way easier anyway. Those bolts WILL break, and then you'll have a nightmare on your hands. 😅

  ​​@@michaelkolkmeier7400hat is not a retired cruiser. The rims are premium level instead of the cheapo police issue steel wheels. No holes of where radio aerials or license plate readers. The interior appears standard instead of distressed modified police interior (holes in dash for police computer / radio / lights and sirens panel. No holes in the driver side door for a spotlight / no spotlight left installed on a "former police car". No dents, dings, scratches on the body panels. The paint appears factory issue and not a replay over police insignia. There's other tell tales that indicate this is a standard civilian vehicle and not police car / former police car.

  Hi Hunter this IS quite easy. Just did it in 1 hour and 45 minutes. the wires on the starter was the most difficult part in my opinion. Thanks for the info about rotating the solenoid to remove the starter.
