    Do you pick motels that you can bring the bike inside on purpose or does it just work out that way? And a road trip on s1000rr is insane

  • @MonkeyButtRides
    @MonkeyButtRides22 сағат бұрын

    Great question! Most of the time it's planned. I have learned there is a bunch of really crappy Motels out there. I've learned to take my time and make sure I find something decent but sometimes the Busa or my ZX10 has to stay outside but it's rare. That was quite the road trip for my son and he bought an ADV bike shortly there after....LMAO!!

    @@MonkeyButtRides Thanks for replying! I sold my 2013 Monster Evo before Covid Lockdowns and am taking time picking my next bike. Pretty sure it will be the Gen 3 Busa. Living vicariously through you. Didn't know Peter was your son, you look young. Btw - I left a comment on your sprint filter maintenance video, with 4 videos pertaining to aftermarket Filters. I saw you had a tune and full M4 exhaust. Check out MWR HE (High Efficiency) air filter. SKU MC-070-21-HE. Foam is supposed to be much better blocking dirt and particles vs what K&N, Sprint etc use. Foam was used by OEM like Kawasaki and Suzuki in past but they stopped due to cost and moved to paper. MWR uses Foam.

    Buy a couple cheap tote bags to off load your stuff for your hotel stay.... and shoulder straps for the duffle ... I use Kriega bags for my Hayabusa , they come with the straps, ( a 30 liter top bag on the seat and 2- 20 liter bags one on each side that hang off the 30 ) they sell a mounting strap for the Suzuki. I wouldn't look to the side grip sections for improved grip. You are still going to want to grip with your legs against the tank for the most part. I never noticed hotter temps with the seat and I've ridden through some nasty hot days on my ZX10.

If the money is to maintain a thing primarily, I'm good with it. People are mega silly gooses, and they do indeed suck. That is a disgusting amount of traffic. I'll look at photos instead :D I'd have filtered or turned around also if I hit that. That's a bit rude, treating bikes not as important as cars, and bikes are way better.
