I have a new iPad Pro 13 inch and the latest updated version of Procreate, but none of the pencil features work on Procreate. Am I doing something wrong ??

I thought Procreate mentioned that they would have unlimited layers added? This is still a limited number….I get confused when new iPads are being marketed and more layers are added and other things like unlimited layers has not been applied yet….🫤

I have never heard that the rims are called wheels.
Okay but it’s so expensive and the texture you get is just…. It’s just a little bit of texture, not like that will change drawing with Pencil drastically. Not worth the money unless you really have the money to spend

i bought the apple pencil pro today but for some reason all the new features are not working in procreate but are working on other apps like good notes and what so pls HELPP
The update for Procreate to support the new features is coming soon. Its not out yet and no official date.

Is the reason for the nano texture primarily to reduce glare? I Thought it was to improve the drawing experience and reduce the need for a paper-like screen protector but Apple doesn’t even mention that point on the website promos.
I would like to know if the nano texture iPad Pro is worth getting on its own for artists who don’t have problems with glare. I didn’t know glare was such a huge problem until these videos talking about it. I guess my dimly light apartment makes it a nonissue for me

wish i could use this pencil with my 2020 ipad air. it still works amazingly, i shouldn't need to buy a whole new ipad for this
matte is fine for anti glaring but it just kills the colors of the screen...

I hope you are doing good i am here to ask i am a beginner and do you think ipads M4 or even M1 can be used without screen protectors,if i would buy a m4 ipad pro standard glass can we use ipad without protector as paperlike wears down my apple pencil nib , i am currently using ipad 11inch M1 thinking to upgrade i am beginner and i barely use procreate but i want to learn and want to be a pro artist thankyou 😊

Wacom curated one of the first implementations of barrel rotation, years ago, in their art pen stylus but recently had to discontinue it.. I'm interested to see future reviews on the apple pencil and sustained quality and software compatibility.
Can not wait for the Procreate update to come out so it can get to a lot of testing. I am loving the features so far. There has been no announcement yet when Procreate will release their update yet.

I got ipad pro and pencil pro as a gift. The price fking scares me. I do not want to take in this gift at all. But I mean I have an iPad air 2 which cant use procreate so I'm happy at the same time.
This makes me love my iPad Pro even more. I upgraded this year hehe. Normal user here… I agree that this is by far the best Apple Pro pencil video.

I'm only getting the 256GB M4. Normally I just use Gorilla Glass to help protect from scratches like I did with my current M1, but this time around I am hearing the new Paperlike screen protectors are way better than previous versions for the new M4's. So it's a wait and see for me. Not upgrading till probably after June once the new IPad has been out awhile and there are more artist reviews out there for the IPad and new accessories.
since Apple states that we only can use their cloth to wipe the nano screen (coz any other cloth would damage it), I wonder how would it behave if we draw with a glove .. would the glove's cloth damage the screen when drawing?
I'm not sure why they say to only use the polishing cloth. The pencil against the screen is obviously more abrasive. Maybe other cloths don't work as well? I don't think another cloth would damage the screen.
I was so frustrated that I couldn’t find the features since I just got the new iPad and pencil pro a few days ago. Hopefully they will be in the next update 🤞

I didn’t believe the glare r, eduction until I saw it next to another iPad screen. still seems not enough to encourage me to go for the terabyte storage options plus its cost. It’s all about choice. Last generation pro m2 are still just too ❤ good. If Apple mucks over them in iPadOS 18, oh no! oh no!
I just bought the new IPad Pro M4 with the new Apple Pencil Pro and in procreate how do i make that hover shadow appear when I have my pencil near the display or how do I find the barrel roll setting? Update: I just realized she’s probably using a beta version of procreate and the roll feature isn’t even out yet :(

Great review. I am an artist but the price is too much. I may want it for drawing but in the most part… I still want the glossy one because it’s brighter. The nano will not be as bright as the M4. If I can have the nano as my 2nd iPad, I would love it, but it will be my 2nd choice if I have to buy one.

I believe this is an upcoming procreate update and not yet released in public

This is complete BS. NONE of these features are available yet. Not only that, most of the brushes on procreate are not functional on my M4 iPad pro with new pencil pro. If you’re going to release a new product I’m fine with waiting for new features. I’m not fine with breaking basic features. I’m glad I only draw for fun. If I was using this for my livelihood it would totally suck. None of this is ready for normal use. DO NOT buy a M4 iPad and pencil pro yet. It won’t even work normally. Not only that what happened to the calligraphy brush in Freeform Apple? Why get rid of a key tool to let you try barrel roll.
