  I test drove a 2020 Kia Cee'd 1.0L t-GDI 120 Hp and I was very impressed with the low end torque. Nice smooth engine, makes a nice growl. I was driving electric cars since 2015 and getting the Cee'd, I won't be going back to electric any time soon for many reasons but 1 reason Is that I really had fun driving the Cee'd, changing gears and the sound of an engine, it was so nice. Once you get over the EV torque, silence and the new experience they really have nothing to offer in regard to driver satisfaction and fun, electric cars are very appliance like and too much tech. I like the Cee'd has Proper climate controls and decent way to use the radio without going through menus. Proper analogue instrument cluster looks so nice compared to a digital screen ! It's got key start and hand brake ! There's a lot to like about the Cee'd and Hyundai i30 and I really hope they don't let the screen infestation into these cars.

  The bottom cap covers the port for rapid chargers. Your standard home charger will generally have one female port and the cable supplied with the vehicle will only have one male connector. On rapid chargers found around the UK, the cables have two male connectors. You'd just remove both caps when charging at those.

  Valuable video, thank you. I'm frequently disappointed when I'm told to "consult the owner's manual", because there isn't one. All Kia offers is a PDF. It has no bookmarks and is almost impossible to navigate. I'm amazed that an international company would be so frugal as to deny its customers the instruction manual...unhappy.

  ive heard that it increases the tork so helps acceleration but how can it do that if the engine isnt driven by a motor

  The mild hybrids (MHEV) don't have enough battery power to add any more power/torque. The slightly larger battery helps with the stop/start, so improves the efficiency and economy slightly. The Hybrid cars have larger batteries and electric motors, so that's where you see improved Torque.

  @@SGPetchLtd thanks yes i was aware of that but the regular i20 engine ia a 1 ltr rated at 99BHP but the MHEV with the 1ltr engine is rated at 119BHPso im not sure how the battery increases the power when the car isnt driven by a motor?

  @@rpatel9901 It depends on which model year you're talking about. Before the MHEV engines, the regular engine as you say, was 100PS, but the newer MHEV engines in the later models are also 100PS. The 120PS engine, found in the N Line, has better tuning. So the power hasn't increased due to MHEV.

  For anyone looking for this, for the rear light buy after you remove the screws, use a pry tool or flathead screwdriver and work your way around the edges until you hear a click. Once you hear the click you can pop it off. Also non branded wedge lights from your local car part story totally work, don't need the Nissan ones.

Great little car im so happy i got one . Just miss the lumber in driver seat and the seat heaters . My sportarge was a fab car but im loveing this picanto

  As others have said, a very clearly explained and filmed presentation. Much better than the poorly illustrated and explained manual that came with the 2021 Hybrid 4 that I have just bought. Several of the items that you have described for PEV apply to HEV. One of the most confusing for me was finding how to activate the door/interior lights. You might want to include it in your next video! Thanks.

  You do not say how to put the wipers in the vertical position which is next to impossible. Unless you actually know that you have to turn the ignition on, then turn it off, then pull the wiper blades towards you for other a second and this is for the Nissan 2012

  I didn't actually understand what you meant and had to read the manual to get the blades in service position, because I actually tried pulling the blades towards me rather than the stick on the steering wheel 😂😂

  Good lord THAN YOU!!! I read my manual for a 2015 and it gave the push up twice instructions which didn't work. YOURS DID. I just hope I can remember where I save this for next time!!
