  I bought this camera when it first came out and loved it. Since then have progressed to newer mirrorless full frame cameras. However I need to bring a small light-weight camera with a long zoom to watch some sport whilst travelling light, and have decided to bring this little gem back out. It also tests my skills re-learning all the functions and your video has been a great help. Have found many that I didn’t know from before! Thank you..a decade on!

  the flash is kind of self explanatory its the controller that seems to be the mystery. Id rather see how to set up the small trigger unit.

  Hi Kelly, this camera is so amazing and the zooming on it is absolutely magnificent! It's such great zoom. I've actually gotten crisp magnificent pictures of the Moon on a full full. Wow and full moon. Yeah I mean magnificent you see all the craters. You can see all the detail on the moon like like as if you're there like it's f****** nuts

  One of my lightpix q20 ii doesn’t work and I’m not sure why … the CHG in the back only blinks orange and doesn’t go green does anyone have any answers to this ?

  I keep the transmitter on my camera and hook up the receiver to my Nissin Air 1 or Air 10S, or Godox X2T flash controllers, which I keep near to me. That way, I can control multiple flashes remotely. I don't like putting the controllers on the camera. They are too big. This set up works fine for manual flash control. TTL doesn't work this way, of course, but I prefer to use manual flash control anyway.

  It's strange that the flash won't fire until I click the video light adjustment button and again the flash power adjustment button. I first thought that I had a faulty device.

  I just bought one of these from Oxfam's online website and am super happy with it. Yes, it feels so nice in the hand despite it's light weight. It will be used on a tripod, so your point was totally valid. How much did I pay? £60, that's all. It's a bargain!

  @@unbroken1010 Ah, well now, I bought it because it's small-ish and light weight, so I can mount it on a powered auto tracking camera mount. I have the mount, but haven't got around to setting it up yet. Hmm yeah, one of these weekends/months. 😁

  A solution of for the problem that your wife had seeing the screen at the beach might be to use a foldable lcd screen shade. The make them for 3 inch screens.

  I own this camera. I use it for documenting my lab work. This is without the zoom. However, I am curious, does 30x optical zoom mean 30 times 24mm or 720mm equivalent? I have an Canon 2000D with vintage lenses and cannot imagine what a 720mm zoom lens would cost. Do I understand this correctly?
