Hi Lee, good video great visual and sound as always. I watched every fishing show you produced on "TV" and you still got it mate, we share the same feeling every fish we catch is our first. I got one , I got one!!! I have learnt a lot but I still need a refresher course, your info you share is best. Thanks take care.
Great catch and release fellas. Good to see a beautiful big fish like that swim away. Cheers.
Still the nest presenter in Australian fishing. Ad libbing good tips. Good stuff.
Great mate, but where is the location? You won't catch those at Frankston or anywhere else??
Western port, looks like Cat Bay
Good to see a new vid mate! Excellent 👌
Great stuff mate! Awesome episode
As always Lee Rayner, aka the KG Whiting Whisperer with excellent tips for anyone who wants to catch these super fun and super tasty fish.
What rod are you using
Great job mate,love your stuff!
Gday lee, great vid, just wondering what model tonics they are? Cheers!
Hey mate, love kgs. I live in Southwest wa and we get cracking whiting aswell. Just love em.
Hi what the handle called and where could i buy it?
Epic. I’d be shitting myself wouldn’t be able to enjoy it
What a great boat ! Only thinv I would change is move the console up to the casting deck so you will heve room to fish from te back. 😊 For the rest, great boat !!
Leave them in the water poser
Where can we buy that PFD jacket? Can't find one like it online. Great videos too Lee 👍
My biggest is 63 and tinaroo
Pretty good mate, keep them coming
Don’t count
🤣
😂
That was 10years ago
You guys are real pro's congrats.
Fantastic mate I subscribed 👍
A very enjoyable video and informative and such a beautiful location.
One thing I don’t do is stick my hands in the water releasing fish , have your fish finder on you might be surprised at what lays under your boat .
Good video. I need to watch more of these, just got my first ever boat and starting to practice driving it down to Patterson river to practice reversing, launching and retrieving before the spring , so I know what I'm doing before it get busy.
get too it mate, that way you can get into the snapper in spring, your gonna love it
That bait guy is no longer there
Any tips?
This must be old footage, nobody owns etecs these days
Hi Lee. Great show. What is the name/place where you got your bait. Thanks Gary
That bait supply is closed now. it must be stock footage
That's a shame.
G'day Lee awsome video mate question I haven't checked but every time I've fished Gippy lakes and rivers I though it was inland rivers waters using legally only 2 baited rods at any one time , but now watching you I may be wrong interesting keep these videos going they are awsome no commercials just fishing.
It depends where and how far up the system you can find a map online that shows where it turns to inland i am a local around the mouth of the tambo is fine i always have 5 rigged up between me and my younger brother with different lures for different purposes
All species of Bream are known to hit the target lures immediately the scientist may know maybe their mouth or even body scales appears in the toughness on even monofilament they used to get food like muscle and clams the targeting fisherman needs not the point of a deep lure but moreover the specimen range and casting with some more than shallow wobblers. ( G,DAY MATE )
Amazing from New Zealand thx
IS THAT YOU CRUDO ?
22 dollars for that bait is a bargain. Brisbane it's 50+
This footage is pretty old, it probably is $50 now, that's if there still open
That place in Macleod Street shut down years ago
Can you get the bait online delivery cryovac
Man I wish tackle shops here sold fresh bait like there 😞 sad that not even the ones near the coast where they would get a ton of customers even do it sadge
Try salvaging your own it comes down to where you live and what you target and what you have to work with crabs can be farmed by leaving a meter square of plywood on a mudflat bait pump for yabbies soft shell pippies and sand worms catch some squid collect mussels if you have prawns in your system go prawning catch mullet and or garfish with bread many options other than buying old bait take the little bit of time to learn what fish likes to eat what at certain times of the year and your laughing
Alternatively fish lures i havnt fished bait in ages unless its a yakka or slimey mackeral under a float
Just found your channel Lee, good stuff, love this style of land based fishing.
Is that bait shed / shop still operating
Old episode I believe
That original shop has moved to Orbost. Try these guy in Bairnsdale - Gippsland Bait and Tackle, 13 Lawless St Bairnsdale - meant to be very good with fresh bait
@@leeraynerfishing Thanks for the info Lee
👍
Hi Lee! I am 13 years old but I want to fish for a living, is this possible? Awesome video by the way!
Of course you can! Ask your mum and dad to pay for your allowance and go fishing!
Nice set up. Good choice of motor, I have the 115hp on my 490 Renegade.
Love it Lee, keep it technical
you seem like a kind person
Another episode that inspires me to get out there and have a go. I'm not far from Ulladulla and the magnificent South Coast area. I'm just waiting for the weather to clear up, Oh, and study at the University of You Tube a little more, before I head out and try for my first Marlin or Tuna. I am the classic guy, all the gear and no idea, yet. Ha, Thanks Lee for another great watch.
Big 💪👌👌👌👍
You will have killed those trout by lifting them up by the tail. They will swim off but will die in the days ahead.
Rubbish
@@andrewchalmers7422 Do a little research and you might just learn something !
Sorry - skilless fishing , not for me thanks
We caught 19 big browns last week at the portal on diawa presso lures(thought we'd at least try this spawn run thing), fish all handled properly and released. As it was so cold, they didn't have their normal fight. We were dragging them in on a 4lb leader. I recommend waiting until after spawning when their back feeding in the lake. We caught 110 fish in 3 days up to 9lb, in Dec 1 year, got spooled, double hookups and busted up by a double figure fish😊 and it was absolutely sporting knee shaking stuff....spawn runners look avg and fight like logs...we're pure sports fisho's, so we'll wait until the season opens, leave the spawning fish do their thing and recommend chasing big Murray cod at Blowering instead😮
That fish is dead
No it was released. Too big & old to keep.
Is that why it didn’t move a muscle the entire time it was on video? Looks like you bought a fish and threw it in a net
was there last week, got 9 beauties on my trusty 13cm Rapala
