It's meant for max load don't start your car pull in a winch and lift your plow at the same time and I think it'll be ok
@BlazeOffRoad9 күн бұрын
Starting your car uses the motor ground, not this body ground. You can easily overload this when a winch pulls 400amps, most of our customers have a 50amp charge controller, and at least 50 amps in lights. this is a 10-6awg cable on most of these Toyotas, well under sized. Go straight to the battery.

Anything different with the ac compressor or oil filter housing? Im going to check when I get home, but hopefully you can answer this for me before I get there. I am swapping my spare 11' mustang forged motor into my 14' f150 and so far the only major issue im running into is the oil pump gear housing being different, due to the f150 crank being notched compared to the mustang crank which is completely smooth. OPGs will work for all year coyotes, but this is the only thing. Looks like the ac compressor may have different bolt locations and the oil filter housing may have different inlet/outlet ports on the f150 block. The gen1 and gen2 mustang motor oil filter housings are for sure different (thinking back to my old motor swap jobs) Ugh Ford can't make anything easy for us.
@BlazeOffRoadАй бұрын
The oil filter housing is different because the truck has cooling through there, and the front cover is much different. Keep in mind these are 19 and 20 model year vehicles so idk about earlier motors! But the oil pumps seem to be interchangeable for me on the gen 3

I assume you'll be working up something for the hybrids when they come out? Great looking stuff!
@BlazeOffRoad2 ай бұрын
Most likely not, but there is always a possibility. With the Tundra there was next to no demand for hybrid compatible parts due to the complexity of install and cost since Toyota put the battery inside the cab. For comparison, a non-hybrid tundra kit is about $700-$800, maybe $1,000 installed. For a Hybrid truck it’s a $2,000 kit, and over $3,000 or so installed. So there simply is not much of a market for the parts.
