Great reaction.I also love this. Like BTS led the way to show a group of artists, industry outsiders can do the impossible and make it big not obeying the rules. RM proves you dont have to sell out. You can be the artist you want. My theory in RMs work every mix tape and album is different from the last. His first self titled mix tape the track DO YOU( the song that says clearly he refuses to be labelled or boxed into any genre). He is continuously pushing boundaries. In a way thats what is also happening in the mv. RM wanders around depressed confused and unhappy through all these potential different lives and expectations never being comfortable. We see this has been so since he was small. At some point he becomes more comfortable in each scenario after being united with his other half/ self, and he can be more comfortable with others. But he still doesnt stay, he moves on finds himself and accompanies the woman( his other half Jung or Plato?) out of the maze of societies expectations to find non of it's real. In the light he sees its all fake sets designed and created by someone else. However with RM there is always light at the end. Hope of better futures now he can see what life is about, he is free of those boxes. There are several clues for ARMY buried within the MV. Pain Devine. During a conversation piece with Pharrell Williams they discussed judging lyrics by how painful they are to produce ...pain divine, devine inspiration?

아이브의 이번 mv컨셉이 한국의 고전 동화를 모티브로 만들었는데 한국 전래 동화에는 호랑이와 해가 자주 등장해요.. 항상 동화는 옛날 옛적에 호랑이 담배 피던 시절에...로 시작됩니다..^^ 그래서 노래 시작 부분에 유진이 담배 파이프를 들고 있고 레이가 랩을 할 때 입에서 담배 연기 같은 게 보입니다.. 노래 제목인 heya=sun이고 멤버들은 호랑이로 표현되는데 ' 해를 삼킨 호랑이' 라는 동화가 있는데 mv 중간 중간에 호랑이(멤버), 구슬 (해)가 표현되니 이해 하시고 보시면 더 재미 있을 겁니다..^^ *참고로 mv초반에 호랑이 그림자가 보이고 손이 나오는 장면은 '햇님 달님'이라는 동화 중에 호랑이가 떡을 팔러 가던 엄마를 잡아먹고 그래도 배가 고파서 아이들이 있는 집에 가서 문을 열어 달라고 했는데 똑똑한 아이들이 엄마의 목소리가 이상해서 손을 보여 달라고 하는 부분입니다.. 이런 식으로 여러 동화의 부분 부분을 캐치 해서 만든 mv입니다..^^

Loved rewatching the song and performances with you! It's always a joy to relive what it feels like to watch their new releases for the first time and I totally relate to you at the end about my childhood as well! I'm also a year older than them and it just makes me so proud to see them live their dream and have the time of their life! Especially as someone who used to be a music major in high school, it's just so cool what they are doing! Was literally crying with you at the end there again 😂

ive been a kpop stan since 2016, with bts being my only ults (but stans so many groups). when they went on a group hiatus, i went on a break for myself too so i was out of the loop with what is happening in kpop. but i knew i miss being involved with it - i just couldn't find enough of a reason to be active again esp it was a tough time for me as well. i'm always waiting for bangtan to be back from military, but i've been away from kpop for so long that i find it hard to be back. i miss it, but thought i'd fallen out of it. but then i discovered boynextdoor after their why promotions and as cheesy/cringey as it sound, i feel like an alive person again. there's something about them that i immediately felt attached. their hearts are so genuine and i've already cried so many times because of them 😭😭 this is my first official cb with them since i discovered them just right after why promotions ended, so all of these means extra special to me )):

Absolutely certain that the ONF is rising, although still very underestimated. Your songs, music are all beautiful and well made and world needs to see and hear it. The part what I loved the most and Rachmaninoff Sympgony no. 2nd MV doesn't even show the best part of the choreography! And I was watching with tears in my eyes and my hand pressed over my mouth all the MV that I couldn't move it really is a work -prime. The album is also amazing.
