I’m a car enthusiast, mainly focused on modifying my BMW M140i however looking to get into doing other cars in the future. I have limited previous experience in modifying cars, some things may work and some may not. Be sure to drop me a like, comment and subscribe!
Im new to KZread and I’m doing this along side my day job but I’ll upload as much content as I possibly can! Let me know what you want to see on the channel and I’ll look into it!🙏👌
Cheers and I hope you enjoy! 👍

What length are the new tips? I’m trying to buy short ones so I don’t have to cut off the bit that sticks up on the exhaust. Thanks
@@garethbatster6205 I’ll have a measure up and come back to you
How you finding them after 10 months?
Wicked mate 🔥
Hi mate, any idea what is the interval for the gearbox service /dif service?
Hello mate, where did you get the rear spats from?
@@callumthornhill5833 KSB Autostyling mate. Got some brand new ones in my garage though if you want them? PM me on instagram @lpm_cars 👍
My sport dials actually say 320 horsepower and 500 for torque so not sure what’s going on there 💀
Thanks for your share
Is this possible on an 118i? Ofc also an F20
How you getting on 6 months later?
Uniroyal Europe = Continental group ..... Uniroyal USA = part of Michelin group, odd but true!
Hello Liam! Love your video! I'm from Aus and just got a m140i and only came across your video too late re: sports dials remap. Your one is stock? It says 400bhp and 400ftlb. If you change your units to kW and nm - what numbers does yours read? Big help if you can help :( Thanks
I’ll take a look and get back to you later on 👍
Damn these have given my M140i a new look. Just waiting for my catback.
Hey ! I have a M140i and I wanted to change the exhaust tips too. I saw many people saying 60mm, and some says 63mm. I saw yours is 63mm? How can I knew it without removing original? I'm confused
Just fitted 2 rear uniroyal rainsport 5s tyres onmy m240i they feel terrible squirm all over the place even at legal speeds 😢 but still with ps4 on the front wondering if rs5 on front will improve matters or ditch the rears straight away for michelin
I've just ordered some as the expensive Continentals I fitted less than two years ago are down to the limit on the rear. Regarding your comment, I read a review from someone who reported what you did but went on to explain that the Uniroyals settled down after a hundred miles or so. I hope it's just a case of bedding them in.
For anyone thinking of short-cutting this process by not removing the bumper...... Don't. Trust me, it's scary when they come off, and of course it's always at speed. Additionally, I meshed all the bumper grill whilst the bumper was off. The intercooler radiator (drivers side) is vulnerable to stone damage, so it's worth doing. The centre hole will only collect leaves etc, so that's worth doing as well. It looks better too IMO. Good video 👍🏻
Why not using rivets?
Because I wanted to use the largest washers possible. For that extra peace of mind. And I would still advise that now.
Treadwear? Temperature Code? Traction Code? Thank
Cool video thanks for making it, I want to do mine too, mine m140i is black so think the tint will make a hell of a difference, think I’ll purchase a heat gun too they are only £15 ish.
I don t speak english so I don t really understand everything my friend I buy my new m140i too I want the same as you but what are the dimensions of those you boight please?
Personally I only drive PS, nothing else, I don't care if they last 15000km , I want grip and a smooth vibration free drive, period. I pay 108 Euro's a piece. No hurt there. That 140i looks really good in red and the black trims 😘
I've got Michelin pilots on my M140i, they were on it when I purchased it with no worries, but have had RS5 fitted to my second car which has only got 135 bhp and found they seem to wear quite rapidly. Also had them fitted to a customer's vehicle, who believe me is a steady driver, and they seemed to be wearing on the quick side too so looking forward to your review on your tyres in 12 months time Liam.
great video mate, going to go and give mine a go now
Cheers pal!
@@LiamMarsdenCars all good mate, had a bit of a disaster with mine i ordered the akrapovic exhaust tips and they dont fit
£409 for a set of four best i can find is £480 for m240i
Only one thing i dont like to this tyre, wheel protector its not outside like other premium tyre. *Also i recomend Kumho Ecsta Ps91 with super performance and good price.
Top needed mods LSD and suspension upgrade 👌🏻
The back of the car looks sick all u need is a black gloss m140i bagde to complete the look. The front splitter is that easy to install IAM thinking of putting one on mine.
Thank you mate! It wasn’t too bad to do, if you have a look on my channel page I’ve done a full install video for it which might assist 👍
Love to see you spending your hard earned money and time on making complete 100% British content
British content...😂

*How to chav it out with Chinese parts. Looks classy from the factory.
*haters gon’ hate 😘
quite easy! thanks for the walkthrough
Nice mods looking good. 😊
The only way you can transform the rear end of an M140i is to spend about 7 grand on a limited slip diff, new dampers and springs, polybushes for the rear subframe and suspension parts, and a rear underbody brace/ And even then it still won't transform it from a wobbly, pogo-ing, rear wheels can't make their minds up what to do under acceleration, into an M car lol. I found that out from personal experience, and now have an OG M2 🙂
Just visual mods at the minute, will be improving the handling this year. 👍
@@LiamMarsdenCars I had my M140i 4 years, really liked it. To be honest, it's one of the best daily drivers I ever had, comfortable, superb engine and smooth gearbox, and even really practical too, I moved my daughter from one house to another just folder the seats down it was like a van. Mine had 455bhp/634nm and was a missile on a dual carriageway. My OG M2 I have now, is on another level, the steering, damping, cornering, and looks of course, really worlds apart. Still would have been nice to keep them both, as the M2 is a bit clunky and jerky (DCT) when I'm driving round town, but every drive feels like a special occasion.
Bro think I got the wrong exhaust tips. M3/m4 tips are that size whilst the m140 tips are shorter . Do a quick Google search to see what I mean. The ones you have will stick a lot (unless u cut off the pins on ur current exhaust to make them fit) 👍🏽
Hi pal. I’ve put them on, there is a video for the install. I’ve upgraded the diffuser which sticks out a bit further than the standard grey panel so they fit really nice imo. I know what you mean though and with the standard diffuser they would need setting back of the pin. Cheers for watching! 👍
Nice video! Wanted to give these tyres a go but would love to know where they are manufactured
Thanks 👍 In the Uk they are part of Continental tyres however I am not sure exactly where they are made.
I had a 2017 M140i with the ZF8, tuned to 455bhp/634nm, xHP3, upgraded brakes and a few other bits, I loved it. Unfortunately hit a patch of diesel 7 weeks ago in traction off mode, left the road backwards, and wrote it off. As a straight line missile it is a great car. The OG M2 I replaced it with however, is on another level for steering, suspension damping, cornering, and looks 🙂
Nice, I’d love an M2 or M3 one day. Can’t afford an M3 model and spec I want at the minute. As for an M2 I have 3 kids which wouldn’t work 😂 I can only just about get them in the 140…. Maybe if I could afford to run two cars. 👍
@@LiamMarsdenCars I loved my M140i, and was gutted when it was written off, but I guess everything happens for a reason. I got a decent insurance payout which allowed me to put half the money straight down on my M2. It's a 1 owner from new, 25,900 mile, minty 🙂 Man, I fcking love it !
So glad you like the RS5's Liam - they are an amazing tyre! Here in the UK they're actually part of the Continental Tyres group which just shows the quality of tyre they are. They've even got a hidden grove that opens up as the tread wears down that give extra protection from aquaplaning (we've done a video showing this if you've not spotted it). Thanks for the mention though - a great video, we'll definitely look forward to watching your content next time :)
Yes, I noticed that after posting, Continental in the UK and Michelin in the US. A great tyre and good value! Massive thank you for watching, I’ll be back down once I have worn these ones out! 👍
Great video pal; it's really set it off 🔥🔥
Cheers mate! 👍
The shape of the first one series is the best shape, in my opinion. The later shape is too sanitised and safe. The 1M is a seriously good looking car?
I agree, we have both the E87 and F20. The E87 has almost 150k on the clock now and still going! (Touch wood). I like the 1M and would have one for a weekend toy if I could afford it… 😅 The F40 is nice in its own right but very different visually to older 1 series models.
I thought the 1M and in fact, all of the first gen 1 series, were ugly as hell.
Looking good that, needs a set of wheels now 🙂
Cheers pal. Agreed, can’t decide though 😅
@@LiamMarsdenCars most people go for Bola , I’ve got OZ Ultraleggera , the Apex Arc8 are nice , and so are the Protrack one
Yeah seen most of those ones, problem is there are too many to choose from 🤣
Good job brother ✊🏾✊🏾🔥🔥🔥
Putting these on my Swift Sport, as it's only a couple of horses, so no need to spend loads on PS5s. If you're impressed with them on an M140i, I think I'll be happy!
So great👍👍
Looks good , finishes off the back end nicely , cars coming together now
Cheers mate!
Got a few more little bits to really make the back stand out coming soon.
Got michelin PS4S on my M140i xdrive and the grip is unreal in dry and yes even wet weather. Best tyre for a sports car.
I run Michelin all season on my M140. Been impressed even in snow.
Pretty confident I’ll be giving them a try at some point 👍
I have a 2018 shadow edition M140. Love the car. I had the exhaust rattle on passenger side. Took it to my BMW specialist. They diagnosed a solenoid fault, replaced it along with a new sleeve and spring. Cost me £343. A lot cheaper if you can do the job yourself I guess. But in 5.5 years that is the only thing that has gone wrong with the car.
Not too bad at all in over 5 years! A lot of them develop the exhaust rattle…
Yes you should
Great video, bro👍👍
Cheers pal!
Goodyear Eagle asymmetric 6 are the best tyres you can buy for your money imo. I'd put the PS5 after those
👍 Not tried either as yet but will do at some point, probs end up doing a video to compare. These are worth a try for the money especially in the wet, I was surprised.
Uniroyal Rainsport?? WTF?
Thought the same before giving them a try. They are decent for the price 👍
A very good all round tire the Rainsport especially in the rain!😊
