  I have never related to anything more than this. I am a junior doctor in SA and I feel exactly the same. I’ve had conversations with family and close friends about leaving the field and the response was “are you insane” at the end of the day it came down to I have one life and I won’t spend it miserable. I’ve always had a lingering feeling of guilt for wanting to leave and felt like a disappointment. Watching this is reassuring. Thank you Lwazi for sharing your story

  I am a student from China, and most of the food ingredients in public school canteens in China are provided by the local government and education bureau, and sent uniformly. In fact, the hygiene conditions and taste are not very good. Of course, if you attend a private or key school, the cafeteria food there will definitely be delicious.

  Hi thanks for posting, very useful. I’m thinking of coming to teach in China but a bit worried about the school food as I’m vegetarian. I does seem here however that there are vegetarian options almost every day 😊

  Yes, definitely. But sometimes the food options will have traces of meat/animal products. You can always cook your own meals, fresh produce is abundant and easily accessible in China.
