I’m actually quite surprised how little love small biz owners get from Shopify. We need 10+ subscription apps to get low level functionality like a “free shipping bar, up/cross sell, or better bundles functionality. To begin with, small businesses just want their small biz to work and scale. Feels like we have to give a cut of our already small margins, all the way to the bank, to place the penny that is left.
Everything is either another app subscription or a $2000 Shopify plan. How about some love for us smaller businesses please.
How to fix barcodes that no longer scan when it used to? Only a few new styles or variants in my situation would pop up when scanned. All the older styles that used to scan no longer scans which is probably more than 90% of inventory. The team now when ringing up sales type in the # code manually because the ipad no longer scans. Any help on that? I couldn't find anything on line and i saw that other people had the same issues as i do.

I created a draft with a generic name. Now the order is ready to ship and I want to change the name of the order to something more descriptive. How do I change the of the order from "#D1" to [Customer Name]
Hi, Steve! Great question! Currently, there is no way to edit the order number/name of draft orders within the native Shopify platform. That being said, editing the order names (once they have been paid _or marked as pay later) can be doable by Hiring an Expert to make the coding change for you - shopify.link/RdA4

Hi, there! Using a CSV file you can edit whether products are published to the 'Online store' sales channel. This is done using the 'Published' column as explained here: shopify.link/0dQr. To manage the availability of products for any additional sales channels, you'd need to do this right within the Shopify admin. You can use the product bulk editor to manage this: shopify.link/2jx6.
