    I know you said you did the power valve mod, was it just the washer or did you go with the hitlis? I think I’m gonna try it.

    Quick question so i have a 11oz ffw and flex bars and the the dome and the 40 power jet set up on stock exhaust what good would the governor spring mod do or have you done that. I dont mind the little snappy part of the bike my gearing is 13/49 right now was thinking 13/51 as i ride slow whats your opinion on gearing and the governor mod.

  • @JasonHamborg
    @JasonHamborg2 күн бұрын

    @cliffordmcgraw8740 I ride 13/51 gearing! It's great. Pv mod will only fix the hesitation from low-mid range on the yzx. No more power really... if you don't notice the hesitation, don't worry about it. Also yamaha fixed the issue in 23, so if you have a 23 or 24 also don't worry about it

    How much difference is there between the 250x and 250 suspension? I’m starting to lean towards mx more but have always gotten by on an XC over an SX. But now that ktm has went full blown tech with the tbi and an electric PV I’m out. Heading to YZ, just cant decide between x or non x.

    Yes!! Even cruising at 50-70% you'll be building a base of endurance that will no doubt help you out. Plus the speeds of this kind of riding can help slow down the technical enduro stuff because your eyes/body are better equipped for higher speeds.

It's great, but I'm a big guy, (tall and fat) so it needs suspension work, and I need to go back and find your video on set-up. I need those foot pegs that sit back and down, and I think there's gains to be had in the jetting department. I mainly need to work at it and practice. It's still hard for me to stand and ride technical terrain. I prefer to sit as far forward as possible, but that doesn't work when you've got a log or something that kicks that back tire
