Hey, DT here, I've loved golf for 30+ years but haven't played for 20+ years, and am so excited to document my journey getting back on tee. I'm big on tech and gear, golf technology has come so far, professional-level tech is now available to common golfers like me, data-driven golf is a reality, and it's so cool!
I grew up in the 80s, my high school golf coach custom-fit and made my golf clubs for me in the early 90s using component parts from Golfsmith magazine. I played a lot of golf growing up. I worked at a golf course, my high school golf team played a course for free, and friends worked at different golf courses - I literally played golf 7-days a week in high school. I got to be pretty good, low single-digit handicap, my lowest carded round was 76.
I stopped playing golf in college, my vision deteriorated (I have an uncorrectable eye disease) to the point I could not see my ball flight.
Yet in 2022, I'm making a comeback to golf! Thanks for joining me!

If you listen to the commentary, you will hear him say he took the hat off before it dropped in... That can be seen in the claimed fake video but the video you claim to be fake is actually the real one. I watched the match live.
