  Yeah. No, I actually tried to keep from doing just that. It was just a single point local race. I've still been recovering from East Moline Gold Cup & haven't been 💯%.

  I'm simply enjoying being back on my bike again after enduring months of rehabilitation. I'm competing against guys who are 11+ years younger than me, but I know I'm doing well enough to advance each round. There's numerous reasons, but in a nut shell, I'm having a great time.

  I always had dianese motorcycle racing body armor.. heavy.. But we are not pros.. saved me from serious injury 3x .. Crashes that horrified everyone.. but i didn’t feel 🤣.. Do not know why more do not..We have to work on Monday

  Yoo, wat up Flex! Thanx for comin by to check out a clip! That might have been the case. It was a slight bit dusty, too. I made a mental note after that to take that inside corner a bit wider cause it's caught a handful of riders off guard. Just between me and you, that jump was just extended by at least 2 feet last week, that the inside scoop. 😉

  @@BMXster I will be 50 in a few weeks. Haven’t been on 4130 since 1998. Had some misfortunes in my life. But now I’m over 11 years sober. BMX has never left my blood. I got second in the state of Illinois in novice in 1996. I had first. But my buddy had a birthday two weeks before the state championship. And moved him into my class. He had 8 more points. And in the second moto I wrecked and smashed my face on the dirt. Knocked me out and broke my jaw. I was wearing and open face with a jofa. So I stuck around and self medicated, on booze and narcotics, got last in the third moto and last in the main. And I got second in state. But I still have my complete 24” Widowmaker. Probably a 1995 model. Still have my menstrual cycle and my challenger. I was half ass sponsored by S&M. Was a dealer for them in my shop since 1993. Bought my 24” wheels from Mike Mchue when he worked at system cycle. Used to get all my stuff from John Paul Rogers and Chris Stevenson. I’m still good friends with Chris. I got all the old school stuff. I just sold my complete never assembled mini cobra. BMX is a disease. Not one day has went by that I don’t think about bmx.

I can't imagine how difficult it must be not to have the support of your loved ones. You gotta get a few race clips up even if it's a #short

  Oh man, I'm truly sorry to hear that. That was a very active day for emergency services, for sure. How are you doing now after 3 weeks? I have had 1st hand experience with that subject, and I had a few pins in mine at one time. Hopefully, you didn't have to have surgery?

  I appreciate the kind words! How are you doing now? I'm progressing day by day. I ended up with a posterior shoulder dislocation, which accounts for only 2% of all dislocations. Which is where humerus ball was out of the socket behind my scapula. Pretty gnarly! 😆

  @@BMXster ooh, mine wasnt that bad I slid out in turn one after tapping my breaks, had a giant bump on my elbow for a few minutes, and it was sore for like 2 weeks, im alright now though Hope you get better!

  @@BMXster Yeah, i stood up instantly and rode off, it really only started hurting after the line. I crashed round 1 on saturday so I was able to race mains, I got first and first in class all weekend! So I finished overall Gold Cup #1 for 16x

  I like seeing the guys in the videos as well. With all the training a few of them have been putting in, I don't think it will be much longer before they start making it a permanent thing being out in front of me.   It is a fun little track. The staff & volunteers do a really good job taking care of the track too. I like that it's smooth with it be sealed multiple times throughout the season. Thanks for coming by to let me know what ya think.

I was looking forward to that qualifier out of all 4 and sad my day there ended like it did right away. I'll be back some day and can't wait to be back out there next year to try again!   Well you usually have some of the best seats in the house whether you are operating the gate or from the top of turn one, I'm glad you enjoyed riding shotgun with me for this one 😁 I can totally relate to how you're feeling. I'm sure the thought of that day doesn't get easier. It won't be long before ur back behind the cockpit turning laps. All in good time
