  There will be probably no Mechelen derby in the near future. So I visit KV Mechelen and Racing Mechelen in their respective leagues. Beautiful old town, awesome grounds and great fans 👍!

  You shouldn't bother going there. One really small club (Kristiansund) and the other, although a successful team on the pitch, has no fans supporting them (Molde). Shit derby.

Although the stadium doesn’t house 10.000+ people we still fill it to the brim on derby day… It’s worth giving it a try man!   Mannekes toch, wat een opgeklopt gedoe. Ja natuurlijk hebben we een hekel aan elkaar. Maar dit is meer voor het oog dan dat er sprake is van een diepgewortelde haat. En het wordt alleen echt na een flinke snuif en met je hoodie aan, uiteraard in groepsverband want alleen stel je echt niks voor en ben je gewoon een wannabe-hooligan die na de wedstrijd weer thuis zit en blij mag zijn dat je je warme bedje weer in kunt rolllen. Dat er überhaupt al een filmpje bestaat van bijna een half uur over deze rivaliteit... Echt heel knap! Ps. Breda to the bone 💛🖤😎

  Het is nooit de intentie geweest om dat opgeklopte naar boven te halen. Wat ik erg interessant vond is dat er culturele verschillen zijn tussen de clubs, steden, fans en voetbalstijlen. Dat heb ik in deze video best goed uitgelegd. En juist die derby bijzonder maakt om die culturele verschillen. Niet zozeer in de excessen die bij wedstrijden ontstaan. Vanuit antropologisch oogpunt erg interessant. Waarbij voetbal een middel is om je stad te ontmarmen en je trots mag tonen.

  You definitely need some education in regards of basically everything. Sports wrong, politics wrong, ethnics group?, seriously dude?, it was no conflict at all, It was a clearly aggression by troops from east, then troops from west. Bosnia and Herzegovina only legit army was Armija R BiH, other groups was basically something like local militias and troops who invaded BiH from east and west. I'll be glad to help if you need.   Mooi dat je het jaar 1887 als oprichtings jaar noemt. Het klopt dat Vitesse iets eerder is opgericht dan Sparta. Maar je zit mis dat Vitesse destijds als Cricket team is opgericht. Het zit iets anders. Vitesse speelde van 1887 tot 1891 voetbal. Echter had het eind 1891 geen terrein meer om te voetballen. De club is toen tijdelijk opgeheven. 14 Mei 1892 hebben de leden van het voormalige Vitesse een Cricket team in Arnhem opgericht. Later hebben ze dat Cricket team weer Vitesse genoemd. Vitesse is tevens één van de oprichters van de NVB (voorganger KNVB). Het eerste officiële Vitesse shirt was wit met een blauwe diagonale streep. Voor de jaren 80 speelde Vitesse ook al 4 seizoenen in de Eredivisie. Vitesse speelde 5 bekerfinales. Vitesse speelde niet direct betaald voetbal na de invoering in 1956. Daardoor vertrokken 7 basisspelers naar de Graafschap, waardoor Vitesse een moeilijke start had toen het dan uiteindelijk betaald voetbal ging spelen. Theo Bos is mister Vitesse. Cocu is natuurlijk ook wel een grote speler die benoemd kan worden. Willem Hesselink is zeer belangrijk voor Bayern München geweest. Vitesse is in 2010 in handen van buitenlandse investeerders gekomen. Maar complimenten hoor. Je hebt zeker je best gedaan.
