The Steinberg-Guinan strength model describes hardening behavior of metal under hypervelocity impact. The model considers effect of pressure and temperature on yield strength and shear modulus. @@DavisMUGABE If it is 2D you can directly handle the geometry. So it won't be difficult. Use boolean feature to subtract the geometry

"Parameterized Deep Drawing Process Simulation for Machine Learning Training Database" The video below demonstrates an Abaqus simulation of the deep drawing process. The generation of the input file, the extraction of deformed coordinates and thickness distribution were fully automated using Abaqus Python. The deep drawing process was parameterized with 23 input variables, including material anisotropy, friction, blank holder force profile, die radius, gap, and initial blank geometry. The constructed training database was then used to train a Gaussian process regression machine learning model. The model predicts the initial blank geometry required to achieve a target geometry after forming, along with uniform thickness distribution. Hi can I use the same code to generate a rough surface in Matlab not in Abaqus?

Great. So this is basically a good example which describes that machine CAN learn mathematical model (like cycloid) if there is enough amount of data!
