  Hi, I just used two different beeswax but I can’t shape the petals, they all break. Do you add something extra to the wax to make it flexible?

  Hi, i don’t add anything extra. But i tried about 5 types of beeswax from different suppliers and price ranges until I found the one. During the time i was searching for the wax with the right consistency, i was practicing on yellow wax from the farm.

  The wax you showed us is white nor yellow beeswax

  You can use any beeswax that has sticky properties. White beeswax is easier to dye. I have a video where I use yellow beeswax as well…

  I only use beeswax. At least that is what the packaging and the seller says. You can use any beeswax that has sticky properties. I have a video where I use yellow raw beeswax as well. If there are any additives that makes the was more flexible I would like to know as well…

  Hi, I’m not doing anything to make it soft. You just need to find the right beeswax, it must be sticky before melting it - that’s how you know that the beeswax will work

  For flowers I only use beeswax. But not every beeswax has the right consistency so you may need to try few suppliers or use the yellow beeswax from local farm to practice.

  Try a diferent brand. I advise you to buy small quantities from few suppliers and try. I tried about 5 beeswax until I found the right one. The good wax should be a bit sticky before melting.

  I bought mine from Amazon, you can find the link in the description. It’s a mug warmer, but if you are not in the UK choose one with adjustable temperature. I use a piece of parchment paper to protect it from any wax spillage, but it’s optional.
