Colorado doesn't have one specific accent. Burlington is different than Denver and Denver varies if you're in a Latino neighborhood, or any Latino part of the state. Far eastern plains is a cross between Texas and ????

As an attorney I'll let you in on a secret: Just appear and tell the court "I believe in jury nullification. I won't agree to follow the court's instructions because I believe that the jury is entitled to determine both law and facts." You'll be excused for sure 😃 Why? Judges don't want jurors to know that they have the power to independently determine the law and can't be punished for delivering a verdict contrary to the court instructions.
