Idk why but I love that line on the verse “ I want lobster 🦞, not no beef and STEEEEWWWW!!!! “ 😂. Good stuff
😂😂
Just watched this before work and learned a lot. Thanks for the tutorials!
@RomeoRuizMusic glad you got something from it man. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the tip🙏
It's good to see this video cause all of this i learn by myself years of frustration cause mixing didn't fix issues
Been mashing the Slate all access since watching ur stuff g 💾
For panning - you could also use a free plugin called Pancake Has a lot of different ways of panning and speeds. Of course tremelo is just a quick and easy way to dial in with limited options. Good job with these adlibs my boy
Good old VMR
Crazy
Learned so much from this jam & mix breakdown 🎉
Good to hear!
Really good job done!
Thank you!
This mix clean af
Thanks man!
nice start point with the raw vocals. Nice video!
Thanks for this Mix Walkthrough Adam!!! Hope you make a video showing how you mixed the instrumental
🔥🔥🔥
why my mix don't sounds as good as yours , whats yours secrets brother , i wanna make my artists records sound like this as well , amazing
There’s no real secrets man, it’s just like any craft it takes a lot of time and practice to get good! Stick at it
I think your raw tracks are not good
is there a way of making the same in ableton?
I’m not sure to be honest, sorry!
Male rnb mixing would be dope. Consider doing a course on both male and female?
I have some things in the pipeline! Thanks for watching
Never try to clean poop 💩
Sometimes you have to work with something imperfect man!
@@adamlewismixing no you don't....people choose too...i dont do it unless they paying me way more money. Its like trying to pitch correction a horrible singer...knowing they need to go learn how to.
@@adamlewismixing recording distorted vocals ..just show its not a pro recording them vocals...normally artist recording they own music to be cheap 🤣
From Vietnam with love, Thank you.
The vocal sits perfectly in the beat
THANK YOU KING
This truely is brilliant for us at home self tought artist... Thank oyu... Looking forward to an indepth R&B male vocal mix and editing tutorial
Thanks for watching! Glad you found it useful
Thanks bro! Too good!!! 💯
Thanks for this video man.Watching from Philippines
Great! Thanks for watching
@@adamlewismixing do you have any preset for mixing and mastering using waves plug ins
@Juniel7 I’m working on that right now! Will be available soon. I have 1 for stock plugins on my Etsy but have more in the works!
Very nice sound and textures. You do a great job! I'm gonna hit you up.
Appreicate that!
ur videos are incredible
Thank you!
Who is the artist? Want to hear the full song
Link in the description! Thanks for watching
You’re amazing! ✨
Niceeee
I didn’t know Karim Benzema was a sound engr. Great video though very educational.
😂😂not the first time I’ve heard that one!
Amazing work brother
I used to use Vitamin all the time…I gotta dust it off. Revival is one of my favorite plugins. Probably my favorite free plugin.
Nice man, should do male vocal R&B mix :)
Hope to soon!
Thanks for this insights. My question is, how do you drive in right reverb level? While vocal play in solo or against the beat. How do you test if your are over doing it. Thanks a lot
That’s a tough one to answer! It really depends on how much reverb you want audible, sometimes you don’t want to hear it, just feel it, and it’s always just a matter of taste. But generally I would do both, with and without the beat, but always best to make final decisions in the context of the full mix
Bro this is fire! Vocals are the life blood of music!
Please release waves. My guy already brought the stock template of you, but I can't wait for the waves one 💯
Appreciate the feedback I’m gonna get to work on a waves only walkthrough with a template to go with it!
GOAT!!!!!!!! Appreciate this video big time, I’d love to know what 3rd party plugins you would have used instead…..I see you like that Slate Bundle 👀
Respect bro! Theres a lot to be honest! Check out my other walkthroughs you will see what I use but mostly Waves and Slate
@@adamlewismixing my guy don't worry I'm watching all your videos best believe lol, just about to clap the preset you got here 👊
Omds 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥seeing the behind the scenes for this one gassing me lol
Nice g, u using the H Delay on a Aux or straight on the track ???
For delay throws it’s directly on a channel bro but for general delays it would be a bus
Gassed u got a KZread with content I was pissed when I found your Instagram and you wasn’t that active on it, your mixes on Tay Jordan’s album was nuts 🎚️🔥💽
Appreicate that bro! Thanks for the feedback
how dar you not show the reverb and delay ping pong settings but otherwise great video!
This one is an early video and I missed some parts😩 lol. Check out my latest R&B video where I do show everything!
@@adamlewismixing awesome thank you!
yoo ima underrated hip hop rnb artist it means a lot if yall could check me out 🫶🏼🕊️
Fire fam... Don't u use pro tools for mixing also or only logic
Thanks! No I only use Logic to be honest bro
Love how simple and precise ur mixes are you show everything used love this bro keep it up
Appreciate the feedback man thanks for watching!
Great great video!!! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Love to see lofi oddity being used. Underrated free plugin
For sure! A really cool free plug
how much you charge for mix and master followed by a breakdown or walk through like this?
Check out my website for mix prices (adamlewismixing.com) but I don’t charge for walkthroughs I just pick and choose which tracks to put on the channel, after getting permission from the artists of course
What was the tracking chain? Nice video!
Thanks! I’m not sure of the chain as I didn’t record the vocals, but as far as I know the mic used was a Rode NT1A
@@adamlewismixing Oh that's awesome! Looking for more videos with more realistic set ups for indie artists. Thanks for posting!
Yeah definitely not a high end set up on this one!
Very very well put together explanation making sense 💯🔥
Thanks man!
Would love to see how you mix the instrumentation 😊
Yes! I usually show that but the video would be so long and most people only care about the vocals it seems lol
What do you think about of vocal rider? Do you use it?
It can be useful in some cases but to be honest for any editing I always prefer to do things manually. Maybe I’m a control freak 😂 but this way it can be exactly as I want it to be and I’m not leaving it up to a plugin
@@adamlewismixing thank you bro, you're the greatest
You’re too kind thank you! I think vocal rider would work well on some sources but I’m not sure how well it does with files like this where there’s big changes in the level. Test it out though for sure!
