    Hey I know you’re waiting a few months but anything important you can give an update on maybe stain removal or how it cleans considering its a light color I didn’t catch if its the beige or white one but if you could shed some light it would be much appreciated! I’m considering purchasing one very soon and was mainly curious about stains or if the cushions are getting noticeably flatter..

  • @type1derwoman

    I have the sunset beige, I haven't had any stains so far! And my 4 month old puppy Is all over it. Yesterday she even came in all dirty and jumped up on the back and I was able to wipe it clean. No issues with cushion flattening so far either 😊 hope that helps!

    No, not really. Less so than the lovesac. The back cushions can get all wonky if kids or dogs are jumping around on it but they're not difficult to straighten up.

    Great video :) I have some difficult questions. if you know the answer to any please respond. Thanks! 1) If you start a 10 unit bolus and you walk away from your PDM will your bolus continue? 2) If you are sleeping does your Omnipod continue to communicate with the PDM as WIFI or Bluetooth? Are these the same ? 3) Do you use the Airplane mode? 4) Is there any danger of malfunction if you are next to another Type 1 person with a PDM? Thanks for any help? I also have to assume there is a battery in the Omnipod Dash and should be recycled ?

  • @type1derwoman
    @type1derwoman Жыл бұрын

    Hi! sorry for not responding sooner! 1. Yes it will, you only have to be near to PDM to initiate the bolus 2. Yes it does communicate throughout the night (bluetooth) 3. I don't put my phone in airplane mode normally, but if I do I just make sure that bluetooth is still enabled after turning on airplane mode. 4. No, because you have to go through a fairly extensive process to connect your specific PDM to your dexcom through the transmitter serial number. And when you connect a POD, it stays connected until you disconnect it manually. Omnipod dash PDM has a rechargeable battery like a cell phone :) I hope this helped!

    If I may ask when looking at your PDM it looks like you have more than 50 units left is that common to have so much left and go to waste is there anything you can do to reuse what’s in there

  • @type1derwoman
    @type1derwoman Жыл бұрын

    Its pretty common, I do sometimes add less to my POD, but a lot of times i forget and just add the full amount. Some people draw excess insulin out of the old pod and reuse it. But im worried that it will have gotten too warm being so close to my skin for 3 days!
