  Bro that one guy had a point you go up to people on the street and you ask if they know who pikachu is or if they know who goku is it's easily going to be pikachu just because of how infamous pokemon itself is because you have to remember pokemon sells way more merch than dragon ball and has way more watch time with all of it's series and movies combined I never knew who goku was until I was about 16 and I was an avid anime watcher because of bleach durarara guren lagan samurai champloo gangster and black lagoon but I always saw pokemon on tv in ads for the new games new movies on cartoon network this is a popularity contest people and unfortunately this is not a fight goku can simply scream for 20 episodes to power up and win with sorry also you can't powerscale popularity 😕

  I’d say goku spread anime to a large portion of the world and is still very popular in Japan, pokemon has reached a couple areas really well, but I feel like dragon ball z just has more outreach.

  FUCK NO!!!!!!! They getting carried away with this variant shit, also a lazy cast and they feel like without the nostalgia Marvel will sink instead of investing in better writing, less b.s. with character changes (Gorr the Godbutcher is one i refuse to let them live down) and get back to grounded, fleshed out story telling with real stakes and actual surprises, cameos that arent planned but random and because they share a universe not oh they have to team up throughout the whole movie....kind of like if the Spider man movie was describing an incident with the defenders in the background, big ass city that they make seem worlds apart

  6:10 i think this is also what makes this anime so refreshing. the protagonist have their own strength/worth outside of their powerups. so it's not strictly a matter of "powerless character relying on power to change their destiny", but more like "people doing good on their own (albeit simpler) reality, and how they do with unexpected powerups"
