Hello there. I have a cambridge IGCSE certificate. Would that alone be useful to get into German universities?
Can you explain to me how many subjects did u take in that certificate?? How many OLs and ALs?
recently Cambridge international updated the requirements so that only 3 ALevels are required and AS levels are no longer accepted correct me if i’m wrong
l believe the requirements haven't changed, you can check over here from the DAAD website which is my source, they have updated the requirements based on the criteria of 2023/24 and it's still the same, 3AL 1AS, here is the link www.daad.de/en/study-and-research-in-germany/plan-your-studies/recognition-gce/

Hello I'm from Nigeria with a national diploma in Electrical engineering do I qualify to apply for bsc in electrical engineering in Germany
You need to learn the German language until level B2 and then you'll have to do an exam in your field but as a diploma you might have to enter vocational training diploma in electrical engineering practical over there in Germany
@@Cyker_at_IGCSE What if I find a university that teach my course in English is the B2 level language in german necessary.
Nope in that case you're only required to take the german language until the bare minimum of your country so that you can apply for the visa, like in the middle-east the bare minimum to apply for the visa is the A2 level, but in European countries the bare minimum is the A1 level. So it all depends on your nationality and they did this so that when u enter germany you can at the very least speak with the locals.

Yep it's on the way, but might take a while cuz of my finals :(
And also does the type of subject affect ur chances with university … for example A levels have more chances than o levels since they have more information???
Yes that is true, because A-levels have more information as you've just mentioned and because it tests the mental capacity of the students whether they can learn that entire curriculum in one session or no, So yeah that's why 3 ALs is almost required everywhere now, if you've watched the study abroad series you'll notice that most of the time it's always 3 ALs until a few shortcuts are found such as foundation programs.
Very informative thank you…. One question though the parents and students choose Igcse AS or A2 or O levels or the teachers nd school according to the students evalutation since O is easy nd A is hard?
Unfortunately it entirely depends on the school, some schools let the parents and students decide everything and some schools are strict and require you to take certain subjects so that u can graduate from that school, meanwhile some schools decide for the students only in their first session except if the student wants to drop Biology or Physics, then by the 2nd session they explain everything in depth to the parents and let them decide the rest.

Thanks for your videos, if I finish my Al levels 2 years studying in uk what’s the requirements for dentistry in Egypt and which year I will be interning.. ? Thanks
For Dentistry in Egypt u need 1 AL (preferable AL Biology) and 8 OLs (the 5 main OLs and 3 OLs of your choice) and your overall score must exceed the 99% boundary or if u can achieve higher then l would totally suggest u to do that because recently the least curve in the history of medical school in Egypt was 98.52% (in 2022) overall as for the past 20 years it was a stable 100%.

As in A*, A, B,C….. where does it fall under ? If 9 is an A* where does 6.6 fall under? Is it a B ?
@@issajohn7290 There is no grade as 6.6, it's either 5 or 6 and yes both of them are B For further demonstration 9 and 8 are A*, 7 is A, 6 and 5 are B, 4 is C and 3 is D

I have a question. I'm Bangladeshi and I want to study in egypt. I've seen the requirements are 8 igcses and atleast 2 AS I've done 5 igcses when I wasn't sure where I want to study. I'm currently doing 3 AS. I want to take 3 more igcses now to complete the 8 igcses. Is it too late now? Also I have given the exams in wide gapped sessions.. I've given Bio and chem (2019 nov) English(2020 nov) Maths(2021 jan) Physics(2021 nov) And now preparing AS (2023 Jan) And in the future 3 more igcse by (2023 may/june) I'm really really worried about the gaps.. Will it matter?
I also take 5 but idk
