We have radiant floor heating concrete slab, and I need to remove the self leveler that was primed to the radiant floor slab... wondering if it's possible
@disgracebook57088 ай бұрын
My self leveler job turned into a fiasco also. I correctly applied the primer, but the self leveler didn’t dry flat. Not sure if the mixture was the wrong viscosity. Spread it the best I could. Followed the mixing directions & it didn’t work. Ripping this crap off the floor. Going back to vinyl tile with luan backing. Bottom line, I’ll NEVER install tile flooring again. Expensive PITA project.

this is what just happened to me. did everything perfectly as instructed. it didnt lay flat or level at all. every mark from my spreader is in the floor.. now I have to figure out how to remove it all. about to get a concrete grinder.

You have to put the absolute highest amount of water that the instructions allow, and then maybe a tad more lol. Learned that the hard way. None of us are retarded though, just the dumbest instructions in the world to suggest that this stuff still works even if you use an amount of water on the lower end of what they suggest.

We didn’t for this set up because we were constantly moving our “shower” to different parts of the house to keep it out of our construction zone while we were building.
