Sturgeon can actually live for over a century. It's one of the longest-lived fish out there. So it's worth saving them.

Make sure you get that fish lip gripper out of its mouth before you let it go. I got the one I have now because I found it in a dead floating blue catfish’s mouth about 2 years ago, it also had a nice umbrella rig in its mouth too, so I’m assuming they caught it on that umbrella rig, reached in to grab it with the lip gripper thing and then it thrashed around broke the line and still had both the lure and lip gripper in its mouth. I assume it happened the day before I had found it since there was a huge bass tournament the day before and it didn’t look like it was dead for too long and there was no rust on either the lure or lip gripper. I actually was able to replace the plastics on the umbrella rig since they were kinda beat up and one was missing the paddle tail

Dope man. People don’t realize how dangerous that place is when they change water levels. That drop wasn’t supposed to happen until almost 6 hours later.
