Wait how does this work? Can you explain?
@@am.i.nikki.2009 Each letter is in a box. Each box has a shape. For example the letter “C” is in a box shape like an L. So when you see the L shape, that’s a “C” and so on.
@@LegacyEscapeBoxohhh thank you that makes sense noww
Also we plan on having a Dr.Who themed escape room. Since it's more futuristic I don't want the typical locks and keys. I also have a concept. Do you have any advice or ideas that can make make the escape room more futuristic instead of the typical locks and keys?
My mom and i have created and hosted two escape rooms in her garage and it's been pretty popular. Since she has put all this work and has more ideas for new ones, she would like to turn into a business where she comes do people pay to set up in there house for event. Do you have any advice how to make that work?

@@amyentertainingdiva2661 sounds fun! She would need really good games and a lot of organization and time! :)
Tips for escape rooms in 2015...
I would love to see a video on different ways to indicate order. It's a limitation I've noticed pretty often at the place I work at, and am running up on as I try to design my own room. They almost always use either date/time, a number of dots, or a lock with different colored dials.
Excellent video!
Excellent video!

I am disappointed in the Boom Count in this video. Rookie numbers. Let’s get those up in the next one, BOOM! (Great video thank you!)
For sure gonna work on that! 💥
The idea is good , but player mess up to much by empty all bottles so then never get the right code without help anymore.... You all know there is always one guy in the group ho start 10 puzzles but never finish one 😁
Would it smell bad?
I’m making an escape room at home and this helped so much!
Awesome!! Let us know how it goes!
@@LegacyEscapeBox It went really well! I used it to write “in the cupboard” and it lead them to the next clue. Super fun
loved this interview!
Scramble a message and then unscramble using a keyboard for your escape games!
Amazing ! Great job.
Instead of using what could be a good book, use one written by Jeffrey Archer instead. Not only will you be making something useful out of it, but who the hell would pick it up to read through?
hi
This is so fun! Thanks.
Glad you are enjoying!! 🎉
These are awesome inspirations!! Thank you, I am planning a science escape room for a kids college. Thanks.
So fun!!
Jeff and Andy AKA Mister and Mischief are a delight! Check out the interview here where we talk about immersive experiences, the amazing escape room convention RECON, Escape from Gadot, and more!
!
Where do you get that red transparency thing???
Amazon! Sometimes they call it film instead of transparency.
Thank you for your useful videos. Do you run into problems with customers stealing your pins and other props that aren't bolted down?
No haven’t run into that thank goodness! Glad you are enjoying!!
Very very fast 🔥 handwriting 🖊️ in Morse Code
These are cool. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos. Going to an escape room today and it gives me an idea of what types of challanges to epect 🙏
Amazing! Good luck and I hope you win!
@@LegacyEscapeBox we did and your videos helped me ☺️ it was still challenging, but with your help I better u derstood the "language" of the game 🤗🙏
@@Elle44289 awesome, and now it’s time to celebrate 🎉
@@LegacyEscapeBox 😃🥳🙌 🙏

Such a smart box

Why is this video 2hrs long? Lol😂
It never stops
We’re going to an escape room today! Hopefully this will help!
Good luck!
puzzles!!!
Making fun new stuff just for you. ♥️
how do i get the message to go away?
Umm maybe a towel? Don’t spray paint it!
@@LegacyEscapeBox what if I don't have a water steamer
10x speed!
Question: wouldn’t it been easier to glue the pages first before cutting inside?
Yes I’m sure you could do that! I’ve made a few book safes by cutting because they feel more “real” than the metal ones you can buy. I’ll have to try that next time!
🎉
Fantastic! I love escape rooms! I am keen on having one at home. Thank you very much from Buenos Aires, Argentina! Your tips and teachings are great!
Thank you so much! I hope you have a great time creating one at home! 🔐 🎉
@@LegacyEscapeBox thank you for your time!
Quick escape game puzzle using shapes! 🟥🔷🟢
But how did you know it was a Caesar Cipher??
You can always have Caesar Cipher instructions in your escape game. I like to add a code book or “journal” explaining concepts or simple shifts like this in a way that presents information but still seems like a fun discovery. Great question! 🏆
How did you know it was german?? Hahaha
I’m doing my first one today
He's back!!! Classic puzzle that people love to solve.
🎉🎉🎉
Write the secret message to pair with your briefcase! Then hide something in the briefcase. A million bucks, bearer bonds, or maybe just another clue.
Must be magnets…
💯
"good thing that didn't break" exactly why I'd never put glass bottles in an Escape Room!
A good escape room shouldn't require external knowledge. I tried to solve it, and I immediately thought about using a Ceaser Cipher. I tried several shifts forwards and backwards. No matter what I tried, the first word didn't make sense. Even if there was a German dictionary in the room, I would have tried every shift only to find out that none of them make sense. If I figured out it might have something to do with the dictionary, I would have looked up the first word in every shift, eventually finding out that "gelb" means "yellow." Finally, I would figure out the message and find the code. All of this assumes you know what a Ceaser Cipher is. Not everyone does, and a lot of people who do would probably not think about it right away.
Sounds fun
Anyone else wanna put their fellow employees/employers through an escape room to see if they can get out? I think it would ahow hiw good of a company that place is.
Fr?
I've just purchased a lock like your second one (the copper coloured word lock). On mine its not clear at what rotation to input the code... Where does yours take the code?
I think maybe that one is on the bottom? I'll have to recheck :) Try to keep the correct word combo the same and spin all the letters to see if it's on front or bottom...
This video has helping me with ideas to create a escape room to my students. It's gonna be amazing!!!
Awesome, and thanks! Best of luck creating something new!! :)
