    Big respect for going to smart route. This works better than an oversized pickup or van. Fuel efficient and gets the job done. Respect

    I manage a small ambulance service and mine went out this morning. I usually only get my mobile mechanic once or twice a week because he so busy, so I figured I'd do this myself. I checked with the mechanic and he said it's a pain and has to come out through the bottom. Thank you for confirming my suspicion that he was totally wrong. I'm gonna knock it out tonight if I can find one in stock. I sure appreciate the video

    Sure, gas savers are best, I’ve actually moved up to a ford transit connect van recently, highly recommend. Great on gas and cheap on insurance. Low to no overhead is how you want to start. Check out my van tour video when you get a chance.

    Is there any reason why you couldn't go from the bull bar wiring directly to the fuse box with a add a fuse adapter and have it turn on when your light come on??

  • @gauges-n-gasoline

    Sure, you can absolutely wire it that way. I just like having the option to turn it off.

    I'm currently a mobile mechanic for a small courier and delivery company, I work out of my f!50 with a cap on the back and a slide out deck for the tool boxes and stuff. I'd quite happily work out of your set up. Don't forget the fuel you'll save compared to a full size truck. Nice job

    I needed a starter for my daughter's Toyota Corolla. I wanted a toyota starter, but the dealer price was ridiculous high, so I checked RockAuto. I didn't want the local chain parts store kind. Rock Auto had a Bostch starter a little over $100, so I got the parts number and decided to check Amazon. Amazon had the same starter for a little over $20 dollars ? I figured it was a mistake or counterfeit, but I ordered it anyway. Received it, and it was genuine . It has been working perfectly for over 3 years now.

    Thanks man, looking for a career at 33, and fixing cars is something I'm really passionate about. Should I get some school or an ASE Cert or just get to it?

  • @gauges-n-gasoline
    @gauges-n-gasoline2 ай бұрын

    Hey brother, great question,schooling to get ASE certified is definitely important. However can be very expensive. I recommend starting at a dealership and working your way up to shop Forman. Dealerships will start you with little experience, and also pay for your schooling and training as well. Once you’re certified you can take those certificates anywhere, even start your own business. This worked out great for me.
