You say the foam core is recyclable - is it PET? There will have to be a whole infrastructure available to recycle and reclaim the resin if this is to be anything more than green-washing. I wish you luck. Even with all the hype around natural fibers (hemp, flax, to name two) they are very difficult to source and very expensive compared to conventional alternatives.
Hello, the foam core is PET, and can be recycled along with Elium resin. We shred the material on flakes and used thermocompression to manufacture top table that cen be recycled on and on. We could also chemically recycled the resin and recover it, PET core decrease slighlty the yield of the process, but the monomer still has 99% of purity. Only if the compressor is over 5 feet above the evap coil or if the lineset is really long. But in most cases, no need to change oil.
If mixed up R 22 with R427 or R407C is not recommended after 4 months system may be faulty.
