I have a 9.1 Atmos/Auro3D in a 11 x 13 room and it sounds good for a small room.
Very nice! It's all about what you can get in the space you have. Every Saturday is movie night for us.

Is Garza no longer family friendly? I'm considering Hotel Mousai, but not jazzed about Garza guests going to Mousai restaurants with children
I hope not. Looking to vacation there in a few months and I don't want kids around lol.

@6:53 that's the butlers quarters that's why it has it's own entrance. Years ago Luxor offered full service butlers for these suites. They would make you breakfast in bed.

Did people have to walk down deck 17 hall to get to Love By Britto?
Yes that would be the case, but it was not open during our cruise. #LoveAboveAll

The old Sabbatinis food was excellent! Not a fan of the new one.

We have just returned from a nine night cruise on the Sun to some fantastic places. Unfortunately some of the areas were still not ready which put a strain on some other areas of the ship (the piazza, live lounge and OMalleys). One night we couldn’t get a seat so returned to our cabin. There was one production performance which was stopped towards the end due to technical reasons (the floor stuck) and the Dome acrobatic show was a dress rehearsal (a long queue formed at 6am for tickets) and inside those on the tiered seating had a good view but those of us on the top level couldn’t see unless we stood up and still had a restricted view. Both shows I’m sure will be good though. Park 19 wasn’t open either. In the Piazza the top level, those who are not on the front rows of seats only have a view of half the floor area so if the artist moves forward they cannot be seen and in Crooners you were forced to only listen to the music from the Piazza because it’s not closed off. Finally the full length blue glass on deck 9 was a disappointment to us because due to the spray on the glass clear views were not always possible preventing photography / videography. All that said I’m sure Princess are and will learn as they go on and others will have a different experience to us. We have paid a future cruise deposit but it remains to be seen if we will use it or go back to Celebrity.
I’m a platinum elite member with Princess with >100 sea days. Unfortunately Princess has elected to decrease free food options and increase “pay as you go” venues. I won’t ever ride aboard this vessel due to polices enacted by Princess. I saw the “balconies” which are on the main plaza deck with passengers walking by (yikes! No!) Bottom line it a nice change but the nickel & diming is too much…….switching to all inclusive lines like Seaborn & Silversea.

Is Signature dining and Reserve dining menu the same ?
The reserve dining room was only for reserve mini suite guest, so I never went. What I heard was that all the menus were similar with slight differences. In the signature dining room, we'd have a similar menu but with a premium protein. Thanks for watching. #LoveAboveAll

I typically haven’t run into many kids on the Edge class ships. There are some events that are adult only for sure. In terms of areas of the ship I am not sure. #LoveAboveAll

Carnival corp (Princess) dropped the ball on the launch of this ship. When you’re trying to grow your brand this is unacceptable. I’ll stick with other cruise lines.

If you book a Signature Suite, is there any need to try and make reservations before hand for specialty dining or shows, or can you just show up the first day of the cruise and have the concierge take care of it for you? Would they have access to any shows/dinner time slots you want or are their abilities to 'make things happen' limited? Thanks.

Great video! Sounds like the suite experience is now similar to celebrity retreat ( which I love ! ) . I have yet to try princess mainly because of the smoking policy at the casino but maybe I finally will try it.
What a helpful video ! I personally like the idea of the buffet being served by the Princess wait staff. They are always so friendly and it's nice to be able to interact with them plus I have no doubt they will give you a 'double' scoop' if you ask 🙂. Also I like the buffet menu being the same every day because that way I know i can wait a day or five for another type of cuisine and it will be there. Thanks kindly for your super video !!! Just completed the new Sun Sailing. Kinda disappointed, overall the ship was still not ready. The food is no longer buffet style, but rather cafeteria style, a lot of repeat on food selection and no taste. The Dinning was in no comparison to other Princess elegant and delicious food experience. The decor was so boring just like eating at a regular restaurant. I guess the idea is for you to pay for specialty dinning. The staff were friendly but seem short handed. I can see staff are overwhelmed and not as happy. Entertainment was just ok, considering it is an inaugural voyage and lacking the “broadway production “ and other new show offerings. Worst Santorini was cancelled and many did not find out about it until we all got into the ship. In the positive side- our stateroom Balcony was great- always clean and organize. Lots of room with a comfy bed and roomy sofa, plus the bigger toilette and bath . Overall, lesson learned- avoid inaugural voyages. Hope honest feedback and reviews will help Sun Princess to offer competitive and quality cruising in the future.
