I video trains at just about everywhere I can with most videos coming from Frisco, College Station, Fort Worth, and Dallas. The railroads most commonly seen in the DFW Metroplex are BNSF, Union Pacific, Amtrak, TRE, DART, FWWR, DGNO, KCS, with many visitors such as NS, CSX, and Ferromex. In College Station, the UP Navasota Sub runs busy with heritage units and KCS, NS, & CSX power. All of my newer videos are in HD 1080p so sit back and enjoy some trains in high definition. Feel free to subscribe and like or comment on my videos. Thanks!

Impressive to see 2 revolution fright engines are able to pull 152 carts.
I didn't know it was a rolling museum.
Did you meet someone by the name of @MRRAILFANTAYDEN? Because I rode down with him and he rode back up and said he met you?
Forgot his name but yes, I did meet a railfan on the way up to OKC! He sat in the seats right next to me
@@DFWTrains I saw his names tayden
@@bn_gp38 Awesome! Was great meeting him
Great video!
Thank you!
Nice catch, I saw it hauling through Arlington yesterday 7/10/24
Thanks. Glad you got to see it too
Great spot for viewing a lot of rail traffic. I used to hit up this area a lot.
Same! Just difficult to access without having to pay for parking / deal with a rough crowd
Congrats on almost hitting 5k
Thank you!
Great video at a great location. Thanks!
Thank you!
Excellent catch !!
Thank you!
Man awesome video!
Thanks!
Great video. Good catch on the SD70M/SD40-2 lash-up. Thanks!
Thank you!
Great video a great catch with the 3-way meet. Thanks!
Thank you!
Excellent video
Thanks!
Great video and I'm glad you caught the unique lash-up of head-end units. Thanks!
Thank you!
I understand 1996 was the merger but I'd like to see a heritage in the old bloody nose paint scheme Red nose white SP and black with Southern Pacific on the side the side panel Can be yellow with Red numbers that's the Southern Pacific I Rember the GP40s
I agree. Would love to see a classic SP paint scheme HU. UP is missing the mark on that
Nice video, I was there at Tower 55 yesterday on 5/23/24
Thanks! Catch anything good?
There was a time in 2021 when they still continued on to eighth Avenue yard I was very lucky to capture the Grapevine train for the first time at W. Peter Smith St., Crossing but it would also be my last as a year later that’s when they discontinued going all the way to 8th Avenue yard the only times they go there is if they have to meet the FWWR Cresson turn
That’s great spot you picked to shoot from. That axle configuration on that F unit is really cool!
Thanks! Was actually just coincidence it came by when I was on the trail. Totally unplanned!
@@DFWTrains you’re welcome.
Loved the UP emblem on 6603!
Good horn.
I'm actually going to ride this train in a couple of weeks. Is that part of the Cotton Belt Route?
Sweet have fun! No, this location is on the FWWR Cresson line which was FW&RG, then Frisco, then Santa Fe. The Cotton Belt trackage is the East/West route from Hodge to Grapevine.
The 1st engine is UP 5302.
My Cousin goes to Texas A&M and was getting ready to go to class after arriving on campus and watched this magnificent steam train pass by before going to class recorded the whole thing and sent me a video I was so jealous and he hasn't stopped talking about it since. Also this is going to show my lack of train knowledge but what are the cars the big boy is towing between the tender and diesel loco are those like fuel tanks or extra coal also what's the point of the diesel train being there is it actually the one pulling the cars or is it just at idle providing power for the cars
Do the ET44C4 and ES44C4 use DC or AC propulsion?
Is it easy to get here? I’ve been looking for a new vantage point to view tower 55
It is easy to get there, but it’s in the thick of the homeless area and the area I was standing may have been gray area for railroad property. I’m not sure if it’s a good idea to go back to. Venture at your own risk
Nice catch and K5LA!
Thanks!
Doesn't that horn hurt your ears?
It sounds nice! K5LAs are always a favorite
@@DFWTrainsAMTK 164 has a nice horn. Better then most of the other P42s that have RL K5LAs.
Sounds like india eas alarm
My wife's cousin is an engineer for BNSF
I wonder where the freights headed? Amarillo?
This is going eastbound so doubt there.
@@saxmanb777 probably jumping on to either of the Dallas or Choctaw subs then
Man great catch!
Thank you!
@@DFWTrains you’re welcome 😉
Nice catch from the Pennsylvania Avenue Bridge
Thanks! It's a nice viewpoint
Nice catch, pretty cool seeing those Coal Cars towards the end of the train
Thank you!
Cool catch!
Thanks!
Where Is This? Where Can I See FWWR GEVOs?
FWWR has no GEVOs. All their units are from EMD's GP and SD families.
I’ve been hooked since seeing the Liberty Train in ‘76
Nice shot of the Starlight, but I got dizzy from all the camera motion. 😂
Boa Noite! O nosso Brasil necessita de colocar trens para todos Estados, assim! Iremos crescer assustador e ficaremos acima da média brigando entre as grandes potências. Abraços
Where's the sink to wash your hands in the crapper? Does the toilet flush? Where do you sleep at night? I guess driving a train is not like trucking. No television or wifi. Looks kinda boring.
Why did the train go across while the gates were still up?
I have ridden that train from Dallas to Ft Worth. Announcer said if anyone missed reboarding then the next one was tomorrow.
Nice one
Great short video. I haven't seen a Tower 55 shot in a long time. Thanks!
I'd grew up in trains cuz my grandpa, my dad and my uncles were a railroad employees and I was working in the train yard in my youth time but I resign from it I regret for it when I'd tried to get back it were late I am getting old and still missing my time on the rails. But specially I'm missing my old ones
MFWBD
Ah okay thanks I wasn't sure.
hector
Great catch of these train especially the big pipes
Thanks!
HECTOR!
Was it really him?? lol
@@DFWTrainsyep that's Hector for ya haha. What a guy
