400k!? In the mines? Phewww!
I’m frothin mate! How can you not show us the rest of the build?!
It’s coming! 💪🏼
I am not Australian, but I deeply admire Australian engineering and creativity. However I have to ask, why do you remove the original tub, especially if you are not going to build an overlanding vehicle? Does Australia use different pallet sizes etc such that you need the wider tubs?
This vehicle will be a Overlanding/touring vehicle. Trays/Flatbeds are a lot more practical, stronger and upgradable with a Canopy. This was a wider tub as it’s a GR Sport model which has wider differential housings. It’s personal opinion of course but we love them.
100%, lets see the rest of the build!
Hayman Reece Xbar from Arrow tow bars will tidy up the rear end
Good recommendation!
Nice, cant wait for future builds on this one
Silly question, what happens to the tray bodies after your unit is installed?
Not a silly question! We leave it up to the customer, they usually sell it privately. Thanks!
Love the tray but feel sorry for the tub
wow cool
Is anyone actually buying this????
Got three on order already with one being delivered to a dealer on Monday in Brisbane.
I would still drive down to Sydney just to see Jono haha 😂
That beard is just majestic.
This is fucking dope! Sick build, awesome video, kickass sound track. How's this video have only 100 likes and no comments yet?
Thanks mate!
Where can i get this in the UK?
We can ship you one

Thanks mate!
still nothing in Tassie?
We have a agent, Northwest Off-road who fit Norweld Trays.
Hey mate, this looks unreal. What’s the cost of this exact canopy setup? Or a rough cost. I have 2 next gen rangers (only XLS) as work vehicles and I just paid for bronco alloy tray/canopies but this has got me thinking 😂😩
Hey Matt! Thanks for the comment, we’ve got all our prices on the website. (Except 3 door, they are coming soon to the site) however I do recommend submitting a quote form just so our team can give an exact price suited for you. Quote form is here: norweld.com.au/quote/ Or give us a call on Monday 1300302899 Cheers 🤙🏼
Looks great Fred, I quite like the third door access. Plenty of room for the yabby pots too 😂
You can fit so many yabby pots in the back now 😂 -Fred
Great Video - Question: Weights and suspension? We all know the Raptors have terrible GVM, how did you manage this?
Yes I want to know too!
Hey mate, valid question. This is a customers vehicle. Our team worked with the customer to make sure his needs are exceeded while making sure the legality of the vehicle is kept. As you see in the video we optioned for our "Basic" 3 Door canopy which means it has empty internals, which was then optioned for the bolt in accessories. This option is lighter and with the canopy being aluminium the package is suitable for the vehicle. We don't get many Raptors through Norweld due to the availability of the GVM Upgrades however the vehicle is within the standard GVM. The Raptors have a payload of 708kg according to Ford Australia. This setup weighs 220kg for the tray and 210kg for the canopy. The vehicle is within the GVM. The customer is looking at getting a more heavier spring to level the vehicle out. Thanks for the question!
Thank you for your reply 🙏
Hi mate just wondering what u do with the oem tub after the installation
Its up to the customer, but they either take it with them or we scrap it.
is it possible to build an extra fuel tank into the tray the ineos any carries 90lt which is not much
We don’t make fuel tanks. I’m sure longranger or brown Davis will do something
Nothing is 'impossible.'
Brown Davis already have a tank for the wagon so won't be long. Gvm upgrade will be needed to increase payload to an acceptable amount...3.9t would be handy
The rear light clusters on the Quartermaster looks too plain and simple on a vehicle costing this much. It could also change on the other model.
Fashion doesn't define utility.
Gday mate. Great vid. Any chance you could tell me what rims and tyres you’ve got on the 2.8? Thanks in advance
Are they going to do 1 million klms like my cruiser.BMW engine parts would be ridiculous price if broken. These are the items we aussies look at.These are for doctors farm cruiser ect 500k + wages.Good option from a Land Rover
That 3l Diesel is a proven unit, proven reliable as well. More than I can say about the crap warranty on the Fanboy Appliance. #experience outclasses opinions.
Does look very nice
Ok, that looks really cool!
My next ute, here in S.Island NZ.
Good to see the mill finish alloy powdercoated black to match the bullbar
Not an option for our trays
I'm open for correction but if we have 200k people 20k motors isn't radical number? I'd say take 15k of those & 5 jeeps or even 20k of those & 5k without the back
Shoud you buy one? Heck yes! Couple of swags on the bag of that tray and time in the great outdoors.
F that, when is the red F150 coming up.
Yeah, ...take my money. Would LOVE to have this in the US without the chicken tax upcharge.
What's the weight of the tray? And what's the total weight after adding the tray?
all you need is money!!
What sort of money for your tray.? I assume you can buy the vehicle as a cab chassis so would not incur the cost of a throw away tub.
Hey Bruce, absolutely the vehicle can be purchased either with a Cab Chassis or a Tub. For pricing for our tray please see our website that shows all the inclusions: norweld.com.au/ute-trays/dual-cab/ Thanks for the comment!
Are landrover kicking themselves? They should be! Ineos is a 461 g wagen with nice touches, more refined which looks like a landrover.:best combination I’d say.
Land Rover has been in serious trouble with their financial's for years. They should have offered him a 50/50 deal. It would have been ready to go very quickly. At this time the entire Land Rover business is being moved in its entirety from the UK to the owners in India. One wonders...Is their a future for Land Rover? Grenadier is rapidly becoming a Can-Do as well Luxury/Utility status symbol. 100K is real $$$.
w464 for fleet sales, forget w461
I think Australia is the second or 3rd largest market for the Grenadier and launched before the US.
The US is too busy waisting money on the Cyberpuss-boy mobiles.
Who cares they're a bucket of shit
This is what should have been fitted from the factory. Well done Norweld!
Thanks mate! We just released a new video with more detail!
Very innovative! Right hand conversion and the tray. Brilliant!
Thank you very much!
will you be making a elite tray for the Quartermaster
Big machine
It looks nice👍
Exactly what is required in the Australian market.
Now thats an interesting option. I wonder if a long-range fuel tank would fit under the Norweld tray?
Nearly all long range tanks on most vehicle work with our trays
Looks great 👍
Thanks 👍
I like how Toyota changed the shape of the landcruisers to the old shape the old shape looks better anyone agree with me
Yeah look alright, only good for driving on graded roads but, inferior vehicles for anything else
Input from the staff on the ground!!!! thats unheard of in my field 🤣 Engineers say their computers say's it will work and work better and thats the end of it!
Is this the 1500 canopy?
Yes! Our 1500mm Long Canopy or better known as our Compact Series!
What offset are these ?
Ballpark figure on this set up?
Hey mate, all our pricing can be found on our website www.norweld.com.au
