  Soco na boca de nostalgia ver isso. Usava muito no comecinho dos anos 90, que delícia era passar tardes e mais tardes fazendo animações no fantavision, fazia filminhos, mostrava pros amigos, a galerinha ficava de cara, era muito mágico. Daí apareceu o autodesk animator, daí sim que fazia altas produções, hahaha. Ótimos tempos. Muito obrigado por postar.

  My 8 year old daughter is Autistic level 2 and non verbal. She is 5 feet tall and very strong but also very sweet. When she gets mad she is very strong and cold doesn’t seem to bother her either.

  Thank you for your feedback, I have a "theory" that it's part of being autistic (to have a differently wired brain), that I got to be so strong and resistant to cold, etc. Because my muscles aren't made of iron or something, the difference must be in my brain. Of course not all autists are like this, because "if you met an autist, you met one autist", I mean, autists are all different just like neuro-typicals, but there are some traits that can end up on some autists like me for example. You're daughter might have this type of traits, of course some would be a lot stronger than others (even if they share the same traits) because each person is different, but it's very possible that some autists are as strong as me or at least a lot stronger than "regular" human beings. When I read that Da Vinci was very strong, to bend horse shoes with his hands, it lit a light in my head. Now this can be difficult to prove as not only there aren't many autists, as also only a few of these autists will get to be very very strong. But I strongly believe this is related to Autism, as it's too much of a coincidence. Some said to me once "retard strength", but my IQ is at least 160 (when I did the tests they only measured up to 160 and I hit that score easily), so, intelligent persons can be very strong also, a lot more than the type of strength that person mentioned me. Anyway it's great to hear that, maybe your daughter could start speaking. I was kind of non-verbal when I was a kid, they say I didn't want to talk to anyone, they even told I was supposed to go to some special teaching. My doctor at the time told my mother that I seemed intelligent and very observing, and intelligent and that she should try to put me on regular school (it was the 70's and 80's in my country Portugal in which Asperger didn't exist, they thought autists weren't intelligent). My mother put me on a school and I adapted (I didn't remember any of this, I remember being introverted but only found that I was autistic when I was 44 by finding some childhood diagnosis). I adapted. Nowadays I found something (non-official) called "Einstein Syndrome" that says that some children like me, and even of course Einstein, Edison, etc, develop lots of other things before speech and develop speech later. Nowadays I can hear English videos at twice speed and even Spanish, and other languages (I speak many languages without effort and didn't even studied them well I learn them by watching movies, etc), I'm very verbal, I learn very fast in many topics, etc. I'm a Portuguese native speaker. I was probably level 2 or 3 when I was a kid (at that time those numbers didn't exist), as I even got fever when I was put on kindergarten and improved when returning home. Nowadays I would classify myself as level 0 (as I have no need of support nowadays, all the contrary, I help neuro-typicals), but as "level 0" doesn't exist, I have to say I'm "Level 1". I'm of course introverted but that doesn't mean I'm anti-social. Anyway just to tell you that I was non-verbal, then non-verbal a bit, then started to be "rarely verbal" to some, and at a given time I was verbal. I took some years to develop that. I think I was verbal to several persons already between 8 and 10. Anyway I was always able to do whatever I wanted in life.   É em Gaia que está a melhor vista para/de o Porto segundo dizem, a vista do Porto sobre Gaia também é bonita mas é por isso que em Gaia é que está o Hotel Yeatman e outros locais com vistas difíceis de imitar. Há ainda algumas urbanizações novas algo distantes do Douro (talvez até 1 Km) e ainda com alguma vista semelhante, em zonas mais altas, não é bem igual mas bastante boas.

  @@vgr2044 pois imaginei que não vissem porque aparecem ali de lado e se olharem para a alfândega provavelmente tinham os prédios a impedir a maioria do fogo, os do Cais de Gaia devem ter visto mais ou menos bem. Para mim foi interessante porque os costumo ver todos de frente e o Yeatman de lado e desta vez os vi de lado e o Yeatman de frente hehehe. Só tenho pena que a minha mãe me tenha telefonado no começo da gravação e tenha perdido 5 segundos do começo.

  Hi, that is kind of a "multiplier", if you notice, there's the punctuation that starts going up when you transport one of them and when you leave a passenger at its destiny, you'll receive those points multiplied by the number after. So you start with 1 there, when you receive/catch a stone with an "X", you'll have a "2" there, then a "3", etc. If you have a "3" there, and receive 1000 points by transporting a passenger, you'll receive 3*1000=3000. So it's kind of a bonus, a multiplier of points. Sometimes it's not visible because it appears right where we are and as such we don't see it but it's there sometimes. Maybe it's kind of a "tip"? :D

  Antes de mais bom ano, mas aí é que se engana, ainda há muito pessoal que adora jogos 2d, falo por mim como fã de emulação e retro gaming ( apesar de nao der da epoca ) consigo ver o valor que esses jogos tinham e ate mesmo a beleza na simplicidade dos classicos como snow brothers, street fighter e muitos outros

  @@martimcunha7110 Ah não fazia ideia disso, então fixe, quem sabe não queiras criar uns jogos 2D depois. Eu vou andar ocupado com outras coisas, mas se tiver de dar módulos de VideoJogos pelo meio terei de melhorar o Game Engine. Mas uma coisa é certa, ele há-de ficar muito melhor, mas as coisas andam devagarinho, grão a grão enche a galinha o papo. Eu já tenho em vista uns 4 ou 5 remakes, mas convém mudar de projecto de vez em quando para não me fartar. :D Um excelente 2024! Thanks!

  Thank you very much! I applied the laws of Physics to the millions of stars, but I sometimes intervene in the process on some occasions to avoid them to get together too soon, or even to make them get away from each other, I consider it a type of art, to play with galaxies even if I change the laws of Physics sometimes to create cool dances between them.   Many thanks! Eu o game engine vou melhorando algo todas semanas, mas partilho mais é no website goncalo.pt e o no LinkedIn (menos vezes), porque o KZread dá trabalho. O game engine dá trabalho mas cada ano que passar há-de ficar mais giro, um dia quero usá-lo quando der aulas de Game Design para o pessoal poder criar jogos, é sempre difícil ensinar algo em poucas horas mas com o engine muitos terão a chance de criar jogos em poucas horas nesses módulos com apenas uma hora ou duas de o aprenderem a usar. :)

  Thank you very much! This was during a very initial stage of development of my game engine, years ago, I develop it on my free time, you can see it is much better nowadays, with snow, rain, weapons, lightnings, rope balancing (for a Batman the Movie remake I'm gonna do), waterfalls, teleportation, waves, etc: kzread.info/dash/bejne/qJpqu8mtiMqpirA.html It's much better now, I though about doing a Rick Dangerous remake but there are so many that I think it's not necessary. I use tiles from Rick Dangerous, and even sprites (like the Egypcians), Lost Vikings (snails and tiles and sprites), Batman the Movie, and Sonic. :) It's for testing purposes, but I'll create some remakes, and later some original new retro games. :) The wonderful music is "Internal Mechanics" from LP Chip, one of my favorite musics ever, I really love it too! Thank you very much for your feedback!

  O skater Alex da Amadora, que vivia mesmo ao pé dos bombeiros? E que andava de skate na escola primária ao pé do monumento aos Bombeiros? É mesmo ele? E se sim, que aconteceu? Fiquei triste de saber, nunca mais o vi, ainda tenho um skate que foi ele que mo arranjou. Sim infelizmente faleceu já á muitos anos, por volta de 2007 se não me engano. O Estrelinha, que eu conheci, e também era patrocinado e andava sempre com ele também faleceu em 2010. Lamento ter de te dar a noticia.

  @@Lilbroda Ah não, esse que falas era o Estrelinha, não? De Oeiras. Soube por um amigo dele de Oeiras também que ele já partiu. Mas esse era o Estrelinha, não teve muita sorte com a vida. O Alex era branco como eu (talvez não tanto porque eu pareço um vampiro), e havia também o Speed da Amadora que não sei o que é feito dele também. O Estrelinha era este, mas eu não o via muito porque preferia andar de skate sozinho e eu tinha um estilo próprio de truques que não se faziam nos campeonatos: kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y4trsqWxadOXabg.html Que descanse em paz.

  @@Lilbroda Viva, Nop, o Alex que conheci era mais parecido com o Nuno Afonso do vídeo (esse reconheci-o apesar de só lá ter ido duas vezes, eu não andei de skate com esse pessoal mas eram fixes eles, eu raramente saía da Amadora). O "Alex da Amadora" era chamado de "Alex da Amadora" pelo pessoal, mesmo no Portugal Radical, os últimos patrocínios dele acho que eram da Gordon 'n Smith e Stereo, algo assim. Era tipo o Nuno Afonso mas de cara mais larga (era mais velho que eu e que o Nuno), mas com um estilo igual, era tipo um Nuno Afonso com mais uns anos em cima talvez, mas o estilo era semelhante. Mas esse Alex do vídeo não o conheci mas parecia-me excelente pessoa. Aliás, o pessoal do skate era tudo pessoal 5 estrelas em todo o lado. Eram tempos muito fixes. É pena saber que alguns já partiram. Ele tinha ar de ser 5 estrelas. Sabes, o que aprendi ao ganhar idade (já vou com 48 mas dão-me 30 e poucos ao vivo), é que à medida que o tempo passa, cada vez vemos mais pessoal partir, mais amigos da infância, vizinhos, família, donos de lojas, etc. É muito triste, quanto mais tempo passa cada vez perdemos mais pessoal. A vida parece ser assim mesmo infelizmente. Thanks pelo vídeo, adorei recordar esses tempos, apesar de eu não andar de skate por essas bandas e ficar mais na Amadora, o vídeo é 5 estrelas. Mas foi pena saber que esse Alex já partiu também. Eu meti um vídeo de skate na Internet a ver se algum pessoal que conheci me encontra mas nunca aparece ninguém, vai na volta alguns já não estão cá e eu nem sei...

  Viva, obrigado, já te subscrevi também porque sou fã de videojogos como é óbvio. Deixei de publicar tantos vídeos cá porque o KZread apagou-me vídeos do ZX Spectrum, e a partir daí fiquei-me nas tintas para isto e só partilho ultimamente vídeos no meu website goncalo.pt. Mas fiz algumas coisas sim, no Futuro vou partilhar mais é do game engine que estou a criar em C++ mas será para jogos nas máquinas mais actuais. :D Abraço.

  You're welcome, I even thought about creating a Rick Dangerous remake with my Game Engine but there are so many that I don't know if it wouldn't be a waste of time. But I use them on my game engine's videos if you watch them it has tiles from Rick Dangerous and even some sprites. Thank you for your feedback.

  2023 Update: Someone asked me abou this being a curl, it's obviously not a perfect curl as I didn't have a bench nor a place soft like this sofa but higher, so I had to incline to get it, and I tried to only curl it when I was straightened up, but as you know the world record wasn't done with the arms 100% straight and had an easier bar (curved) and those 57kg per arm would be less if only one arm alone (it's easier then two arms are together as they use chest strength also): kzread.info/dash/bejne/gnxqtKmhaMLXibw.html I did 48 because with 56 (what I could with my disks) I would fell over due to my center of mass pushing me to the front (my bodyweight was around 68 much less than the world recordist's), I had to bend to get the weight and I did my best to only start curling only when I was straight or almost straight. I did this just to show back then that I had the strength to try the world record and that if they allowed me to do it with a single arm I would do better videos on a gym to prove them before going there. But they didn't accept it. You can stop the frame when I have my arm straight to leave the weight and you'll see that the arm was on the same place where I had it when starting to curl, and you can see I rotated the arm well above 45 degrees and the body only rotated very few less than 10 degrees to finish straigthening up. So there was a curl in there, it wasn't only my back straightening as some might think. So there is curling here, and I did my best to do it correctly due to the circumstances, but to avoid those saying "bla bla that's not a correct curl, bla bla" I put "lifting" in the title, as this isn't a perfect curl But someone once told me "that's a deadlift". I could deadlift several times this without any effort. :D There's bicep curling here, with a deadlift there is no curling. So this may not be a perfect curl but was my attempt to do a curl without any means, without bench, without a bar, knowing I couldn't do the double of this weight with both arms at the same time (a lot easier than half with one) without a good bar and etc. So, only one hand (harder than double with double weight), not using chest strength as they use on world record, weighing half the recordist's bodyweight, so try to do it with 3/4 your bodyweight, or whatever your bodyweight is: 48kg in these conditions, and tell me if it's easy. :D And I don't even trained weights. So, stop the frame when I start to curl (straight arm), stop it when I let the weight fall (straight arm) and you'll see the arm was the same, it was the most straight it could, and that at that time I was almost straight up and only straightened my back less than 10 degrees and the curl was above 90 degrees. You can compare the frames and check the arm's length, they would be shorter if they were more bent. So guys, no, it's not a dead lift LOL, and may not be a perfect curl, but it was what I could do then. And yes, my bodyweight is half of the world's recordist, and I don't lift weights, I just bent steel at that time as I had lordosis as a child and didn't want to damage my lower back, these weights were from 2004 when I tried to go to the gym and quit as I didn't gain muscle! So I tried to put a weight that didn't pull me to the front (I can curl a lot more in a bench), tried to be straightened up, used a straight bar and not one of those they used and that let them use chest muscles also, I wasn't trembling (I had a glass of water and with the pinky out), I had the arm apart from my torso to make it more difficult (he has it joined to his torso and that helps), etc, etc. If you require I can show the comparison of frames one day! Anyway try this at home with this weight (world record for 2 at the same time is around 57 per hand and not as hard as with a single bar), with this straight bar, getting it from the sofa like I did, with the glass of water, etc, try it, before you think it's just a deadlift. :) And remember, I don't train weights and my bodyweight is usually 140-155 lbs, this was just to ask them to let me try one day, and to take a frame for a photo to share with friends. So, 3/4 my bodyweight (I'm a lot lighter), I bent still (nobody in my country saw me in gyms those years), 48K and world record is 57K per hand (both hands at the same time), they use curved bars, they have the hands closer (it helps), both arms at the same time (it helps), they used radiant strength (I didn't that's why I didn't crush the glass, it helps them also), arms turned inside (using chest muscles also) not apart as I used, etc, etc. Harder to balance also with just one arm and the weight to one side of the body also (harder). And I did what I could to make it the straightest possible, if it started when I was still a little bit curved, damn, try it at home and see for yourselves. :) I just didn't train for the world record because they told me I had to do it with my back to the wall and with both arms (107 Kg) and as I weigh 68K it would be impossible not to fall to the front. If not, I would have trained to do it with a lot more weight as I can do a lot more on a bench. And ask the world recordist if you want, to do the same I did here, to see if it does this easily or if he says it's not as easy as it seems, before commenting, as commenting is easy, try it first. ;) PS: I could lift a lot higher, remember the conditions I did this, the bar, one arm, apart from the torso, straight bar not using chest, weighing less, etc, etc, I did a lot more on a bench.

  @@GoncaloFerreira Não há medida certa, isso é artesanato. Tens de ir acrescentando e vertendo fora até sair o melhor som. E tens de mudar a água e lavar a cada dia que usas, senão isso transforma-se num pequeno charco de cultura de microorganismos.

  Olá, obrigado pelo feedback. Eu já não treino nada há uns 6 anos, mas eu ainda tenho força base muito acima do normal por isso mesmo sem treino consigo enrolar frigideiras, etc. Mas tenho saudades de fazer estas brincadeiras. Levantar 30kg com um braço para mim não é nada, mas o difícil era agarrar o saco com pouco espaço para os dedos, era o agarrar o saco sem ele escapar (que magoava os dedos ele estava muito apertado com fita cola), que doía, mas se calhar percebeste isso.   There's a "fire" button, which releases the stone and lets it fall when you press it, and with that button you can release the stone for any direction, according with your speed. I think it's the right CTRL button.

  A Spooler ao que sei era feita na Damaia em Lisboa. Os tempos tinham outro sabor, ainda me lembro de usar o Netpac da Telepac com Modem de 28800Bps e depois a 56K, era diferente mesmo ao minuto. Um grande abraço e obrigado pela nostalgia.

  E eu comecei com o Clix, ou o da Telecel a do pássaro cujo nome já não me lembro. Tenho as Spoolers completas, e ainda um exemplar com os 3 primeiros números juntos. :) Lembro-me que no Liceu da Amadora lá para 1992 ou 1993 eu esperei meia hora para sacar numa BBS um gif de um hamster com uns 50 KB e fiquei maravilhado com a qualidade. :D Eram bons tempos, eu não me importava de viver de novo nos anos 80 e 90, os tempos de agora não são a mesma coisa. Estou a criar um game engine para criar jogos estilo retro mas com mais capacidades (com mais memória e gráficos e cpu etc), mas nunca vou deixar o estilo de jogos retro 2D.   Obrigado, que coincidência estava eu aqui a ver comentários que não vinha cá há quase um ano e vi este comentário em tempo real. Eu se pudesse vivia só nos anos 80 e 90 e estaria a programar para DOS agora e Amiga, e era feliz. Foi pena isto ter evoluído tanto. Mas ando a criar um game engine do zero em C++ e um dia vou criar montes de jogos retro para máquinas actuais, e remakes de jogos antigos. O mundo pode "evoluir", mas eu continuarei sempre nos anos 80 e 90. :D Obrigado pelo feedback!

  Pois, pelos vistos não houve Java, acontece! :D Mas o importante é que todos saibam Java, já que é muito usado hoje em dia, aprender nunca é tempo perdido. Mas para quem quer seguir Cyber-Segurança recomendo o Python pelo menos. ;) De qualquer das formas só quero saber de C++ ou C, o Java que fique a descansar. :) Abraço.

  True, I even prefer to play the ZX Spectrum version than the arcade version, the ZX Spectrum one is a lot more addictive. :)
