    As a Brit living in the US, I am always amused to hear how you love the British accent, when in fact every few miles in the UK has a completely different accent. I enjoyed hearing your observations.

    Four-wheelers are over-all superior as a carry on for the following reasons: they are more stable when placed upright unlike the two-wheeled that's prone to tip over; you can glide them in upright position thus relieving your arm of stress with constantly dragging them behind, and this is very important on long walks; they can be maneuvered in tight spaces because the four wheels rotate 360 degrees so you can move them sideways (very important in airplane isles). They are totally very easy to move around in general because they can spin, thus, the two-wheeled carry on had lost favor among baggage users.

    I suppose the biggest thing I have noticed is the Corporations and their control of everything - I served in the British Army and we did training in the USA and R & R - it is almost as though you are living through the time of the 'robber Barons' that England and Europe experienced 600 to 800 years ago. The very rich Barons and the serfs (slaves with rights). Though I do think of the USA as being heavily indoctrinated and propagandized - 'Land of the Free' etc.. Yet you are one of the most heavily controlled countries in the world, certainly at the same level as Russia or China or Switzerland though I do think that you are not as bad as North Korea.

  • @TripAstute
    @TripAstute21 күн бұрын

    Yeah, corporations have a lot of power and control in the US. It's definitely become an issue, especially around safety regulations.

    I've switched from using Google Translate because it often gives direct answers that aren't very accurate. Instead, I've started using Immersive Translate, which conveniently displays both the target language and the translation outcomes on the same page. The leather and zipper on the WaterField wallet seems a bit more premium, but the Bellroy is made from more sustainable leather (if that matters to you). Both are great quality though. My Bellroy wallet is still going strong, and the leather has developed a beautiful patina over the years.

    Avoid Timeshare Like the Plague.---They hit you while you are vulnerable==Relaxed, on vacation, no stress,& enjoying your family--The presenter starts friendly and low key--Later he will evolve into an insulting, a**hole. Buy a dividend paying mutual funds--Use the dividends to pay for annual vacations. The sales commission is expensive and the resale is less than half of what you paid. Moreover, if you are foolish enough to buy Timeshare, buy it on the resale market at 50% or more off. Some people will give you their Timeshare if you take over high maintenance fees.
