Thank you for the kind words. All the lots in this area have been sold. It's my understanding that the parcels sold off pretty fast.
Pretty awesome feeling when you look at all the work you put in to a property and see it start to take shape. Yer doin great
Thank you.
putting in work, how much you get that 5 acres for if i may ask
About 7k an acre.
Looks like home
Showed mom the video and she said it looks wonderful. Ps and she loves you.
Thanks bruh. Can't wait until you come down for vacation.
Around how much $ was that, bro?
$1000 for about 36 ton I believe. 2 triple axle dump trucks.
@@JustinsOffGridAdventures that seems OK. My friend paid 750 for pea gravel on California.
You rock

I'm currently deciding on that right now.
@@JustinsOffGridAdventures english shepards border collie mix
Sweet baby Jesus, that looks so much better.
Thanks Bruh.
You mentioned watching KZread. How are you getting service off grid?
I went with Starlink out here for internet. It's expensive but a necessity for the web work and AI stuff that I do online. I've talked to the neighbors about modules from ATT and Verizon but the cell signal out here is terrible. Which is another reason I chose Starlink. If I had better reception, at least 2-3 bars all the time then I may have considered a cheaper cell option.
Keep up the good work and content bro
Thanks bud.
Yummy
It was delish.
Carroll county?

What part of tn. Im in wesr
Houston County.
Great. Your Content is fantastic, But your video optimization section area is not perfectly up to date. Out of 100 that score is 0.That's why your video is not reaching out to people, and you have very few subscribers, views , likes, watch time and comments. I think your KZread channel will make your dream come true. Can I talk with you?
I appreciate your comment and thank you for your advice and support but I already have a team at KZread helping me.
@@JustinsOffGridAdventures thank you

I use to live in Erin, Tennessee. I love and miss the beautiful country
I'm so blessed to be able to find this piece of land. I'm about 20 minutes from Erin. I go there for garbage and shopping for food. People are so nice here. I love it. I love the rolling hills too.
@@JustinsOffGridAdventures I been looking for 1-3 acres in that area or near their, so if you hear anything please let me know

You welcome. Thanks for tagging along on the journey.
Awesome chipper good video
Thank you.
Bud you have quite a forest! Make sure u save some woods for the winter heating!
Soooo much wood for the winter heating. Lol
Great job brother, New friend here stay connected God bless you
Looks like fun to me Justin. I have to ask you, why don’t you just make a burn pile and on a wet day, bring a chair, some cold beer and just enjoy a controlled burn. 🤠
There are tiny piles of dead wood that I'll be burning and logs all over the place that need to be trimmed up for firewood. There is just so much overgrowth to deal with that I decided from the beginning that I would need to chip it all up as I work the land. I could only image how big my pile would be by the time I'm done clearing an acre of land. Well, I'm off to mulch my life away. lol
@@JustinsOffGridAdventures Sounds like you are doing it because you like to do it. I think you need to spend a bit more time with a cold one by a fire more often. Burning pencils like you seem to have plenty of will only take a few minutes and you’ll need a lot of them to get a big pile taken care of. Have fun with that sharpener you have, but I guess of you have a stick or two that machine does the trick. 🤠🔥
keep uploading!
There is so much more too do. I'll keep the camera rolling. Thanks for watching.
Excellent job! I really enjoyed your video's.
Thank you.
Hey Justin i just came across your channel an subscribed. Much love from Indiana 🤍
Welcome to the journey.
I haul off my garbage. There is service here, but it's a dumpster that costs $200 to drop it off and $50/month for them to dump it once a month. I haul mine and it's more like $30 every couple months. We first got an address through the UPS store. They rent mailboxes with actual addresses, then later on was able to get one for the property through the county. The mailbox just bought us some time
I did the same thing with my mailbox when I first got down here. I looked for the closest UPS Store and got a mailbox. My stuff is still being sent there for the moment. I still have to go to the Post Office to get a box here in town. Next up will be changing my license over to this state.
@@JustinsOffGridAdventures the ups store is really handy. I still have mine and use it for anything related to the KZread channel including if anyone wants to send promotional items, or adsense documents, etc ... Before I moved to Washington, I had the ups store as my address and was able to have that as my driver's license address. I was stoked about that since I got out of my apartment and didn't want any mail going there anymore
@@JustinsOffGridAdventures you have to have your birth cir in hand or your not going to be able to do anything
This is just camping. Having phone and internet capabilities is just camping
I"ll agree with you for sure. I am camping. I'm also clearing land for a cabin. I have no electricity or sewer, garbage pickup, etc. So I'm technically not connected to the grid at all. Do I have some amenities to help me pass the time and to upload my progress? Sure do. But so does everybody else that is off grid. They have internet and generator backups too. Subscribe and you'll see that this is much, much, much more work then just camping.
@@JustinsOffGridAdventures ill subscribe but on the grounds. 1,, want you to succeed. 2. We agree to disagree on this.
This is my first video using Davinci Resolve. 14 days into my 60 day goal of moving the trailer farther down the woods. After the trailer is down there, I'll need to clear more for a cabin, shed, coop, kennel. Like, Subscribe, and Follow Along.
That trailer doesn't look like the same one from the inside.
It's a 21 Forest River Wolf Pup 14cc. Probably one of the smallest travel trailers you can buy.
hey man new sub from missouri . i have been offgrid since 2009. looking forward to the next video
Any tips that you may have drop them in the comments. Appreciate you jumping on board for the journey.
@@JustinsOffGridAdventures skirt trailer. get small trailer to haul water 250 gal plus. rain water catch tank. shit in bags throw away in trash. diy septic 55gal drum with small drain field. eco temp on demand for hot water. burn more less chipping will keep the bugs away
Nice setup. Been doing the off grid homesteading in eastern Washington. Goin on 6 years, now. Looking good! I understand the warranty on the HF predator. I have had several of their generators and ran them into the ground. Made good use of the warranties
I got the warranty on the Generator and the Woodchipper. That poor chipper.
@@JustinsOffGridAdventures we definitely beat the crap out of our machines
Hi. New sub from Canada. I look forward to watching your content 🙂
Thanks for subbing!
I live in North West TN. Where are you located? I've also been looking for land.
I live out by Erin, TN - in Houston County.
I subscribed. I really think im going to pull the trigger on this off-grid property I looked at in TN. You said you got an address? What is required to put the rv on there. Did you have to get a septic tank right away? I plan to pull a little travel trailer down there and eventually build a cabin. Good luck on your property.
In the county I'm in it's allowed to have a camper onsite all year. In TN, it depends on the county you live in that dictates the land and what your allowed to do with it as far as keeping a camper onsite, building a tiny house or getting one shipped it as well as septic and water. When you choose a parcel that you like and are thinking about pulling the trigger the first thing I would do is check what county the property is in and then start doing Google searches on the county's land use codes. I just heard a story this morning while getting my water about a family that had bought some land looking to be off grid and found out shortly after that there would have to be a septic system or water installed. You can always called the county building codes office and ask them questions as well. Like you, my plans are to build a cabin as well. Chickens and dog are a must too.
@@JustinsOffGridAdventures thanks for the information
Is that an Equinox you are pulling that camper with? My equinox can't pull any weight like that.
No, it's a Hyundai Tucson and it can't pull the trailer either. I need to either rent a truck when it comes time to extend this driveway or I'm trading my Tucson in for a truck.
Hi Justin, you worked real hard! Happy to see you doing this. I would love to do the same.
You can do it! Let me know if you have any questions.
Nice work. I'll be curious to see what it looks like in a couple months.
Thank you. I'm just out here winging it, so I'm just as curious as you right now on how it will turn out.
Looking great Justin!!
Thanks for the kind words bud.
Do it!
Doing it bud.
