Wow she was so beautiful. I remember having a crush on her as a kid in the 70s and 80s. Great actress that didn’t need all the woke stuff today. All female actors take note and earn it like she did.

Ok, all you 360ers. Put your right arm out, palm ✋ up ⬆️. Maybe with a glass 🥃 in it. Now rotate it towards in the direction of your thumb 360 degrees. You’re not exactly back to normal, huh? Keep going another 360 degrees, et voila , now you are unchanged. 720. That’s how much of a genius Quentin is,

She goes back when she learns that the colony of families on LV-426 might be in trouble, and shows real determination when she discovers parentless NEWT, igniting her maternal instincts for her own ‘lost’ daughter during the 57 years she was asleep between Alien movies.

The character of Ripley is a master class in how to write strong female characters in action films. Unfortunately, it’s a class too many directors and script writers skipped. The modern idea of a strong female action character is that she’s flawless…can fight off men twice her size without breaking a sweat…is both a technical genius and fashionista. In other words: Dull, flat, not believable.
