This is ridiculous. There should be no "hardest part" of a driving test. It should be a 30 minute drive where if you drive the car correctly and don't break any rules, you are given a license. More like the USA. it's just a money making scheme by the Australian government.

Although I cant find anything in the road rules saying its illegal to pause while turning and waiting for the yellow light to stop traffic. I dont like to cross over the line when turning right unless I see a clear way through the traffic. Waiting for the yellow to stop other traffic seems fine until you meet someone who speeds up to get across the yellow light. Ive seen this happen twice and its a nasty crash. My apoligies to the people behind me.

I waited for someone the other day when reversing out of a car park bay, I started moving then stopped when he turned the and looked like he was coming straight through (It was pretty obvious I had stopped for him) He then just pulled in to a bay before he got by me and didn't use his indicator, this obviously annoyed me a bit as I had wasted my time waiting for some ignorant driver. As I reversed I said thanks for using your indicators, Him and his missus jumped out of their car and then proceeded to stare at me like I was the *******. As I went past I wound my window down and shouted "They are called indicators"

If WA Gov wants to improve road crash figures, this is the kind of content they should be showing as ads instead of scare tactics. Show us how to all be better drivers instead of telling us we all die if we go fast. If West Aussies have better skills overall, the roads become safer. Love watching this channel. I’ve been driving for years.

The very first merge in this video is a "lane ends" merge, as indicated by the short-dash line going the whole length. This means the left-lane vehicle must execute a lane change to the right, and as such does not need to wait to the end (the last arrow) or stay aligned with the left kerb line. This is an important distinction because it gives right-of-way to cars in the right lane (compared with a true "form one lane" merge, where the lane markings stop before the end, with the car in front having right-of-way).
