  Hello from a fellow Washingtonian. Thank you for this video. Your advice on shipping costs was so helpful. Thank you. Regarding the cost to ship pet shampoo and conditioners, there are shampoo bars for pets, which is awesome. I am switching to bars for myself to help cut down on plastics. That might help with shipping cost, and no worries about breakage or spillage in shipping, either.

  hi! i started a pet business called The Dapper Dog Box in 2016. I grew it almost half a million in sales (with zero advertising) in 2.5 years then sold the business in 2019🔥🔥 i dont share my entire story in every video! Oh and im also launching a dog poop bag biz this summer! Best of luck

  Hi! thanks so much! I cant remember that part of the video where i referenced shipping but shipping costs to customers can be 1. Baked into the product cost, so if product is $8, shipping to customer is $4 you could charge $9.99 for product and maybe charge $2.99 shipping to customer there are a lot of options - happy to create a video on product business shipping strategies- just reply back and let me know!

  if your theme your working on IS NOT PUBLISHED- products you assign to a product page template will not be visible:) it only shows when the new theme is live and published and products are assigned to that theme

  totally depends on your profit etc your shipping charges but i would rather you add $5 to your product price and keep shipping freebies or MAX $5? would that cover your shipping?

  How do you import more than 5 pictures? Most of my listing have 10 pictures in each listing. I tried this and it worked!! Thanks. However my listings on Shopify now only have 5 pic.

  Kerrie, I'm having an issue where I've incorporated the javascript into the head section of several posts on a client's Wordpress site. The problem is that the popup form is sensitive to cookies, and it only shows up once and only on one of the five posts that I've got it embedded on. Is there a setting that will allow it to popup up everytime I visit one of those posts?

  Ugh im not 100% sure about that! Maybe try checking the settings of that popup form and adjust so it shows more frequently? Annoying when those things happen! it might be something in the worldpress settings as well

  That was very helpful! Quick question though. I created my template but when I assign it to different products, the details of the original product link to the new product. In other words, I cannot assign the same template to ALL products + edit each one with their respective details. For instance, if I said one toy has a squeek noise so I put that in the description, that text then gets applied to all other pages. Any help is much appreciated!

  so what you can do is create MULTIPLE product page templates for higher level catergories, assuming you sell dog toys . Product page template #1 is for squeaky toys then assign only sweaky toys to that. Product Page template #2 is for plush toys, etc etc!

  Hello, thank you. This is very helpful. I have about 2500 pdts on etsy. Do i get charged twice (from etsy and shopify) when a customer places an order after the migration? Like the etsy fees and shopify fees or do i get charged once?

  hi! if you start a shopify store and the customer orders from shopify then you would pay any payment processing fees via shopify account, it wouldnt have anything to do with etsy🥰🥰🥰

  Hey Dusty! to be honest im not sure how it can fixed (the software/app) i recomend isnt mine so they would be the best people to reach out to! But seeing so many people struggle to migrate etsy to shopify makes me think there needs to be a better solution out there (maybe something i work on developing this year)🥰🥰

  actually i realized in this video im not recommending apps, so its likely the way you exported your file and imported it! maybe delete and try again 🥰🥰not the best response but with technology sadly there can be issues esp with CSV files you have to match things exactly right

  This is a great video! I’m just a little confused about how to apply this template to all of the products. My store has like 1000 products. Do I have to apply the template to all of the product pages? Because I have so many different products, if it possible to have several different product themes? I love the idea of adding images of the products being used but they wouldn’t apply to all of my products. Can you specify the “much easier way” that you mention? Do the templates work if my theme isn’t live?

  thanks so much!! You can create as many different product page templates as you want and assign to different products. for example if you are an online store selling candles, and candle vessels you might create two different product page templates, add different things to highlight candles and then for the vesells you would add specific things to that then assign your candles to the candle template etc :) thats what i would recommend! You cant assign the products to the updated page template until the theme is live!

  Hey! so you are taking that list of unengaged people from your list exporting it then importing back in the supressed emails and saving it. Then when you email your list that group of people wont be included

  Seems as tho I need them all. I'm the product maker for our business. We also do vendor shows, so that leave little time for these other things. Which means they arent getting done. I have someone that kinda mans the website for us but doesnt really want to so I think its lacking too
