  Yamaha and Sony are great audio gear manufacturer - in terms of player, cd transport, pre amp, power amps, BUT they produce not really great speakers. Maybe there are one or two models which are acceptable but overall, there are many many better brands, esp from Europe that you can match with the above setup. Missions, polk audio, dynaudio, totem, or maybe those a bit high end such as focal audio, sonus faber or elac that you can choose from.

  Hello from Australia, I have a pair of NS1000m coming next month. I see that you have paired the NS1000m with a few amps. Can I ask what is the best amp you have found to sound best with the NS1000m, in your opinion ? thank you.

  Most of the Sansui Vintage amps can matching well with Yamaha NS-1000M such as, Sansui Au-9500, AU- 7900, AU-11000, and Alpha model 907, 707, 607.

  @@TRUNG.NGUYEN. Thank you, yes I thought the A907mr could be good. I was thinking also of the Yamaha B2x and Luxman L540, but I have not heard them. Unfortunately I cannot afford to buy all of them to try out Lol! regards.

  @@cruise2023 Yamaha B2x too bright to me, however if that's your style, if you want the Yamaha amp sound, better pick up the Yamaha A-2000a, it would be very nice sound.

  Или видио не передает или же так и есть 🙄 хде бас . Вроде всё правильно ну или же так и должно быть . У меня 3000са/ва и акустика fisher ste 1200 а вот бас хде то он вроде есть итут его нет .ну или же стоит другую акустику пробовать .я так же любитель такого жанра и громкость больше чем 15 ну редко оч бывает .

  907XR much better than 907I mos limited and clear sounding, of course it can drive Pioneer S933 very well.

  Does anyone know why the power light would be red on my c-2301 instead of green? Last I recall it was green, but when turning it on this morning, it has stayed red. Seems to work nonetheless....

  There must be something wrong with the protective relay, The pilot light just only red when turn on, however relay will release in a few seconds after a click sound then light turns to green.
