swirl is +1, adeptus is +3, cleanup is +2, emblem is +2, base is 2, mona is x2, and bonecruncher is x32 one way to think about it is we end at 340 and we need to reach a multiple of 32 by subtracting the additive buffs and dividing by two in any order, the first multiple less than 340 is 320 which is impossible cuz youd need to subtract 20 when the maximum is 8, so lets say we immediately divide by 2 to minimize how much we have to subtract, even then we would have to subtract 10 which is still impossible, this means the only possibility is some of the calculations happen after the first bit of discarding but before the last bit of discarding bonecruncher calculations, for example ((((2+2)x4+5)x4)+1)x2x2) so base+emblem followed by 4 bonecruncher card discards, then adeptus and cleanup, followed by 4 more bonecruncher card discards, followed by swirl, then the last pair of bonecruncher card discards then mona

That's great theorycraft right there. But there is also another opinion that the multiplication of Mona and bonecruncher is separated. So the first one with Mona is 10 x 2 = 20. And with bonecruncher is 10 x 32 = 32. This one kind of makes sense but it is not written in the game in detail whether multiplication like this is separated first before adding up.

According to the 1st situation with approx. 100 DMG (7 Bonecruncher's Energy Blocks, taking Mona Burst multiplier as 2 and Burst + Swirl Multiplier as 10) and 2st situation with exact 340 DMG (10 Bonecruncher's Energy Blocks, taking Mona Burst multiplier as 2 and Burst + Swirl Multiplier as 10), I calculated quite easily that the general formula for this Burst is: a) for odd amount of Bonecruncher's Energy Block cards: DMG = 2^((n-1)/2)*b+m*b b) for even amount of Bonecruncher's Energy Block cards: DMG = 2^(n/2)*b+m*b where: n means amount of Bonecruncher's Energy Block b means Serpent Burst + Swirl DMG m = mona Burst multiplier

I'm guessing they changed Yunjin's description so it wouldn't apply to Neuvillette's second NA bc +3 damage twice is too broken lol So it should now apply only when you trigger the effect and not to all of his NA

The point of this video is to straighten out the mistakes that were on my community tab yesterday. Especially what is still a question for me is the Talent of Yunjin why they only paraphrase or change the sentence. If you're too lazy to see this until the end, I just write here for several possibilities why they only paraphrase the description of Yunjin's talent card. 1. In the new update, the description of Yunjin's talent card will change to if you trigger "Flying Cloud Flag Formation" and Yunjin is alive then this skill will provide an additional +2 DMG. Why did they change NA to Skill. My assumption is because not only NA but Plunging Atk can trigger this "Flying Cloud Flag Formation", plus many plunging atk kits were mentioned in the 4.8 balance yesterday. This will only increase the scope of this skill. 2. Because in the description of "Flying Cloud Flag Formation" it is written that if you use NA, it will immediately trigger this passive. Then if the card in hand is not more than 1 card then this skill will get a discount of 1 elemental die. So mentioning NA is no longer necessary in talent card description because in description of "Flying Cloud Flag Formation" it has been explained that this passive will only trigger when we use NA. 3. Maybe they are preparing for characters in the future where if you use elemental skills or elemental burst will be considered as NA, I don't know.
