Bro this is the titanic one of the most if not the most famous ships in the world considering it’s over 100 yrs old and was the biggest ship of its time (being built late 1800 and first setting sail in April (?) 1912) it also has 2 sister ships 1 also sank after the titanic did but the 2nd the Britannia (?) was made into a medical ship during ww1/2 I don’t know if it also sank or is now in a museum but the titanic is the most famous of the 3 sister ships for the way it sank but many possibilities when it was built could of also lead to its down fall, since this was the biggest ship of its time affording to build this vessel was incredibly expensive even to this day aswell so when the company building it ran out of the correct sized screws for the titanic the resorted into cheaper or wrong sized screws wich became a flaw of the titanic the same goes for certain materials they ran out of they would end up buying cheaper materials (not as strong) for certain things resulting in another flaw. The reason it’s so famous is because of the way it sank when an iceberg scraped along the front side of the titanic (the titanic was built to deal with head on collisions and smaller scrapes as in the haul/bottom of the ship had been separated into compartments 5-6 compartments could be flooded and the titanic could still stay afloat) flooding 7-8 compartments of the titanic haul making the front of the titanic to begin sinking which resulted in the back half of the titanic to rise out of the water however with the massive engine/perpela (mind my spelling) at the end of it weighing it down caused the titanic to snap in half as the first and second half both began to sink and resulted in many deaths and the death total was so high on the titanic’ s sinking because the life boats pervaded was not enough for the total of 2000 people on board (I think idk for sure) the life boats could only carry around 700 people, which resulted in many people jumping into the ice cold water below and freezing to death. However the titanic holds many hidden and secret gems/stories that are very interesting, like the man who people believed should of gone down with the captain and the titanic for being a reason the titanic sunk, and the man who dressed as a woman to survive the sinking, and my favorite the elderly couple who stayed behind Bec her husband wouldn’t of survived and she couldn’t live without her husband. So if ya want to know more of the titanic and her sister ships then go search it up it’s extremely interesting! I 100% recommend it! Hope this helped idk all about the titanic so I just told the key bits ik about the titanic and the sister ships! So seach some up it’s really interesting!
Just a lil info for anyone passing by! Hope you liked this lil history note left behind!
Love it Nothing. I’ve lived here (NI) all my life near the giants causeway. Proud of this wee island especially the North💪🏻👊🏻
