Documenting my scrapping/recycling hobby and maybe anything else that might be interesting while on my adventures.
I started off litter picking, aluminum cans mostly, then started picking up metal. Found a few car wheels, tvs etc and it snowballed from there.
Trying to make the world a cleaner and more sustainable place by recycling all what i find and make a few ££ (very few!) along the way.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated but be kind :)
I've learnt a huge amount frim other channels so hopefully i can help a few along the way.
Happy scrapping and look after your world :)

Awesome!
Nice copper.
Thanks for watching. Everyone loves shiny copper 😊
That's a decent scoop. Looks fiddly, but sometimes that's just what you need. Good, strong cabinet, as well.
Yes pretty fiddly but got a nice amount of brass, makes it worth it. Really want to try and keep the cabinet 👍
@ecoscrapper3501 reusing things makes me feel like I am doing things right.
Nice find, are you keeping the metal cabinet you could make it into a tool cabinet, lovely brass and copper in them 3 black dial things 👍
Was my first thought! Not sure if i can store it and keep it dry until the shed is built. Will be excellent with shelves in. Thaks for watching 👍
WHY?
Because it's fun and maximize my copper and brass 😊 Thank you for watching.
Nice I just posted up about the same thing nice to see I'am not the only one doing this , sub you brother
Thank you for watching. We all love stripping cable for copper! Sub back 👍
@@ecoscrapper3501 cheers mate
😂👍✌️
The copper looks like pyro, its used on old alarm systems,Nice finds and great video 👍
keep going mate, be good to get new shed
I've been waiting a long time for the shed! Thanks for watching 👍
18 minutes and you didn't scrap one of those security cameras?
@@HHRecycling could have filled a truck with that lot!! 😂
Nice copperrr
@@patrickwilliams4613 the proper nice stuff!!
Nice sea trip nice views
Iam from India sir. Interested to import copper wire scrap to India. Can you support and help me. Please share your watsup number
That's pretty cool. I remember when you had the bins full of perfect wire.
Can't remember where i saw it but thought it was worth showing 👌
Wow! I've never seen it so calm there.
I happens from time to time. Still to catch a proper storm on video!!
Really cool. That pump looks like a garden watering pump that you suck in from a bucket and then spray your garden like it's raining. My grandfather had one like that and he would blast us with it when he'd pull the cool water from the well
Ahh you may be right on that! I may restore and even use it, it's a really cool thing 😊
I just saw that I had missed a few videos. What did you call that building near the start?
That's our Pod. Once it's all signed off we can let it out to tourists. We get huge numbers of visitors on the island during summer and lack of accommodation so we thought we'd try and offer somewhere to stay and make a few ££'s 👍
Great video, have a nice week :D
Thanks, you too!
Big balls
😂😂
Ouch 😮🤕
All better now 😂
That’s handy having a spot where you can collect goodies from
I know on 6 days every year there will be plenty of stuff brought to one place. Plus i can take anything i like 😊
You have some great stuff to scrap, the old radio could be worth something if it works, is there a scrapyard where you are or do you have to get a ferry to the mainland?
Scrapyard is on the mainland about 50 miles drive with 2 ferries, 18 and 10 minutes. I'll give the radio a good clean and see if there's any interest, doubt it works but will try. Thanks for watching 😊
I love my electric powered one so much faster and payed for itselfe the firdt yesr
They do pay for themselves pretty quickly. Would like to try an electric one to compare. Thanks for watching 😊
That's pretty cool. People are starting to know to call you for scrap. Probably make a few good friends out of it, too. That's a great deal for the grinder. I bought a used one and it was $60 Canadian, but needed two new wheels. It's a bit heavier duty, but I didn't need anything that heavy for what I'm doing. Nice update on the workshop plans. Have a great summer, Chris.
Word soon gets round here that's for sure! Hope to document the shed build as it happens like Scrapping Irish. Have yourself a great summer to my friend 👍
That’s awesome! I use my brass plug in I pull out for my copper ball I’m making great video buddy! That definitely makes it a lot easier to pull them out!
It is so much easier with just a little heat, i can't bear throwing them in shred with all those goodies in! Keep the copper ball going 👍
77 plugs no mean small amount. Love the washer fire pit set up, what better way to sit and while away the hours. And every bit helps. 👍
Everything i was using was free, from skips or something I'd found. Even the lighter i started the fire with! 👍
That's a good little save from the skip
Couldn't hear what you were saying through the music.
Wasn't anything interesting which is why i left it 😂 Thanks for watching 👍
That's Ian's favourite meal!
I was expecting Ian to turn up with a bowl and spoon 😂😂
I still have my ps1 buddy! And all of my games I got when I was little. There not much in them buddy! Awesome video my friend I just subscribed to your channel buddy!
Thank you very much. Love my old gaming stuff but you're right. Not much in them 👍
Great mate i strip all the wire i get into bare bright
Lol
I broke apart a PS3 a few weeks ago. Good circuit board and huge allie heat sink. Pain in the bum to get apart, mind.
I did one a while back and yes it was a pain but better than the PS1 😂 Thanks for watching 👍
Yes bad not much there thanks for video
Copper ball is looking great mate .what's it weight
Thanks, i think it's nearly 3kg. I might put it in a short this week as i get asked that a lot! 😂
That's crazy that it's been 2 years. I recently bought a bunch of electronics from a mini storage place and there was a lot of gaming stuff. So far we have two fully working NES units with duck hunt and mario, plus several playstations of different models, xboxes, and a sega genesis. Pretty cool.
Time flies! I have a Nintendo 64 as well, think the gaming consoles get better for scrap with age. Better chips and more gold content. Hope yours do well 👍
@@ecoscrapper3501 I got a 64 as well. The electronics guy says they sell really well because people want them for some sort of speed gaming. He's looking after testing, fixing and selling, and I then get more than scrap value for them, plus he gets work out of it too.
Nice ball of copper
Not a fan of plugs
Not the new moulded ones!!
Bom dia
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Nice ball of copper wire what does it weigh
Just under 3kg at the moment 👍
"Promosm" 😆
not much beats shiny copper :D
Love it
I must admit to passing on those things. I just cut the cable!
Not the best value but easy to do 👍
I love my old plugs, I've been collecting old MK plugs off ebay, better to spend a bit more and get something quality
Old plugs are way better. Old usually means better made and top quality!
This guy's just trying to plug his video....
😂😂
So refreshing to watch your neat and tidy approach to scrapping. 👏👏👍😀
Only because I'm a bit special and not enough space to be extra messy....yet! Thanks for watching 👍
Scrappers are like pikeys.. favorite tool is a hammer 😂😂 I hate it watching people smash everything and bits of plastic going everywhere. Only things I smash is the coffee machines and microwaves with rusty screws 😅
That really says it all, there are treasures everywhere, one just need to know where to look :) great video <3
Simple plugs with plenty to offer. Thanks for watching 👍
"Don't worry, I'm not going to go through them all. " Oh, I wasn't worried, my friend. I was looking forward to it. Nice little scrap out.
I could have, it didn't take that long. How much time have you got? 😂😂 Thanks for watching my friend 👍
at this point i skipped to the end
