  At my high school you could have guns in your truck if they weren’t concealed. I can’t think of a single friend that didn’t have a pocket knife… They’re convenient

  outlawing the bringing of knives to school is honestly a mistake. If everyone brings a knife to school then everyone has a weapon to defend themselves if there is a situation in which a student is using a knife unethically.

  I carried a pocket knife everyday in school unless I just forgot it and so did most guys I went to school with. However I’m from a fairly rural area in north Alabama and it was the late 90’s thru early 2000’s so things were a bit different than now. We all just carried one for what I guess I would call “utility” purposes just like all the grown men (and a lot of women in their purse) around us did. Idk you just need a knife sometimes.

  Right on. I'm from Mid-Tn and we had our rifles and shotguns in our trucks at school as many of us would hunt before school during season. And knives were required if you were in the Woods and Water Club. In fact, when having a fistfight after school, we'd hand our pocketknives to a friend so we wouldn't lose or break them. Miss those days.

  Grrr....still not working. I've tried on Chrome and Firefox. I get the spinning wheel right from the beginning too...I can't even delete 10!

  Hmm, occasionally there will be one nasty post that will cause the bulk delete to fail. Have you tried a different block of 10?

  Once in a while I come across a post that cannot be deleted at all (esp really old ones). Sometimes if I scroll down to the post manually I can delete it individually. But I have a few posts on one page that cannot be deleted at all (from 2013)

  that year was below seasonal with some isolated thunderstorms but it was so cool. It would have to travel elsewhere to see the storms as usual. Beyond amazing storm, thanks for sharing!

  Yeah, we don't just get the best storms; we get the weirdest weather. One day it will be bright and sunny, and the next it will be snowing. Did I mention that this happens in the middle of the summer? This storm flooded half the city. Hail the size of marbles. 99% were kept awake the entire night. Miraculously, I slept through it.

  @986tornado it has been a freakish year... we are now having +10c days and had such little snow this year we can still see the fields.
