  I love how you kept your volume as low to the point of actually sounding like a low-brass. The bari in my band is always blasting, so it's definetley refreshing to hear this.

  i know this is an old video, but one of my friends is a bari player, and was nervous to start playing bari, (she’s typically on alto) and she played, and you remind me of her. your tone is amazing!! and you were very present the whole time, and you never messed up!! this is amazing!

  From a current bassoon player, and former tenor player, half of band couldn't even get this tone! Your tone is really warm and all around. Very surprised. We have a Bari Sax but I don't think he as good as this!

  Playing sleigh ride on bari in my community band and this helped me a lot! Those low c# to g#'s are so annoying in this part lol

  i just started playing bari about 4 months ago and were playing sleigh ride (its a different arrangement tho but still very similar) and I wanted to say you have a great sound, its a sound ive been trying to get where its good at bridging the woodwind and lower-brass sound. Just a question what arrangement is this because its sound cool.

  I’m a french horn but my friend plays bari sax! we sit right next to eachother in band class cuz im first chair horn and he’s the only bari sax! i actually rly love the look and sound of the instrument. you sounded great!

  i switched from clarinet to bari sax and i'm loving it so far. going to high school next year, i'm hoping we get to play this song so i can record it because there's barely ANY perspectives on youtube of this 😭i love the way you sound tho, keep playing!

  DO EET Hypnotik! I made that switch 54 years ago and am still playing and I can tell you that when you walk on the scene with a bari, it's usually like "OMG we have one?? YES YES...fit right in here!" And yes Chicyfay is spot on in so many ways. Thanks for the video.

  Due to the advent of KZread, the lowly bari player now enjoys the love and appreciation of a whole new generation of listeners and viewers! As a fledgling saxophonist 60 years ago, I felt the distain for this monster of an instrument whenever I was called upon to play baritone sax. As a professional on alto and soprano now, I’m glad to see this majestic cornerstone of the woodwinds step to the forefront! (Thanks, Leo!) And GREAT job on SLEIGH RIDE! 🎷👍

  Aren’t all saxes supposed to be in the front or is it only the bari that is in the back with low brass

  it depends on the ensemble!! ive been in some ensembles where all saxes were in the same row, but some ensembles where bari is seated next to the tuba, but the rest of the saxes are together
