I feel very bad for the employees. Would anyone know how easy or difficult it will be for most to find other employment in that market?
I believe we read where they received a severance package based on the number of years. Hopefully most will be hired back when the Hard Rock opens if any are still looking for a job by then.
I never stayed there but I am glad I saw the shows that were at this hotel including Siegfied and Roy and Mystic. I wish both Hard Rock and Horseshoe hotels were being built at the north end of the strip because that end of the strip needs help.
Yes, the North end does need help. The Sahara seems to be doing "ok" at the moment and hopefully the FontaineBleau can pick up some of the slack that the North Strip is lacking.
We stayed at the Mirage Las Vegas for the Last time. Goodbye Mirage!

Fabulous view from your room! Do you remember what the red drink was with the pizza?
The red drink with pizza was Sangria!

The smiles on your faces @10:02 says it all 🙂
Enjoying your videos!
Thank you so much!
I swear my wife would flip out on those waiterss who insult you 😂😂
They do warn you and ask if you are ok with being yelled at. We were ok with it, but we can see where some wouldn't like it.
Love the pace
Great video!
Thank you!
Is this an excursion or right at port ?
This was all at the port. They don't have a pool at this port but they do have this wonderful beach area!
SO HAPPY FOR YOU U HAD A GREAT TIME SOOO GOOD SPREAD A GOOD WORD BLESINGS AND ADIOS
We really like Roatan as a cruise port. Yes, the port is nice. however, if you want to use a 3rd party excursion, they do not let the outside vendors actually use the port. Instead, you have to walk 1/2 mile down the road to a field where all the independent tours leave from. At the end of the excursion, they can drop you off at the entrance of the port. The beach area is nice but is it that much different from dozens of other beaches in the Caribbean. If you like snorkeling, you are a lot better hiring a driver to take you to the east side of Roatan Island to snorkel near the reef. We paid $50 for a 4-hour tour by a private tour through Roatan Travel and Tours.
Yes. We booked a tour through Charlie's Roatan Tours. We had a private tour guide, went to the Monkey/Sloths Sanctuary and to West Bay Beach to a private resort all for $55 each. We did a video of this if you would like to see it. It's the "What to do in Roatan" video.
should i return an hour or two before the ship leaves?
I would be at least an hour early. If two or more ships at port make it closer to 2 hours.
@WanderingHewitts Thank You
If you're looking for cheap eats, I LOVE In-N-Out. Also try Hatty B's located on the second or third floor of the Cosmopolitan. For $16, my friend and I shared three tenders and two sides. The Mac ncheese was amazing and the chicken was super juicy. Secret Pizza is here too. Not bad, but bring a drink. We got a water that cost more than our pizza slice. It's more of an experience than anything cuz the place is kinda off to the side. You gotta walk down a hallway of old records. Kinda cool. Also get a Kine plate from Aloha Hawaiin Grill at the Plaza Hotel. IT was like $5 for a good portion of meat, and two sides. I got Rice and Mac salad. It was probably my favorite cheap eat.
Great suggestions!

What did you think of the Pool deck in the Divina compared to other ships?
I was on Magnificia three weeks ago, I found the elevators to be mostly empty the week I was on, and the ship was full. I thought the elevators were great. I did not enjoy the entertainment as much as you did, I felt the theater shows were dated, and the music around the ship was average. I did not like the comedians they brought on. The muster drill, I called the number and heard a beep I thought, and I hung up and went to get my card scanned. I think other lines just make you get the card scanned after you watch the video, better than when I was jammed on a deck in the summer hot outside for an hour in 2019. I thought the food was better than you thought in the main dining room, but the portions were small. I thought the buffet was hit or miss in the quality of the food. I did notice the abundance of lounges, compared to a ship like the NCL Breakaway that had far fewer.
Ya, we didn't care for the comedian they had on board either. Have you been on any other MSC Cruises or was this your first? We were recently on the MSC Divina.
@@WanderingHewitts This was my first, I have taken one cruise on four other lines each. For all the bad reviews MSC gets, I was pleasantly surprised, and thought it was a great value.
Hi from Cortés, great video!! 🎉❤🇭🇳
Thank you for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed it!
One of your Vegas videos popped up last month and we watched a couple of them and subscribed. We go to Vegas every year and just got back. Now we've been watching your MSC cruise videos. We've taken several Carnival cruises but not in the last 13 years. When we watch these it makes us want to cruise again. You got great footage of the animals! May I ask what city you live in?
We are heading back to Vegas soon! We have grown to really love cruising as it gives you a glimpse of the countries and what they offer and MSC has some really good values as well!
Thanks for the in depth video. We go on a cruise at the end of September and this will be one of our stops. I liked and subscribed. Keep the videos coming.
Glad you enjoyed it! It's a GREAT Port!

Great video! Very entertaining and informative, thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
What is your opinion on this port? Is this one of your favorite places?
Great video i will copy your trip and i think it will be awsome 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Have fun! It's a great road trip!
Great video, guys! I will cruise on the MSC Divina next week from Barcelona. I love what you did with the ducks!
Thank you! We really liked the Divina and think you will too. Lots of lounges to check out!
❤❤❤❤
Great video, fun to watch!
Glad you enjoyed it!
if you dont have enough money for a vacation stay home lol
Oh 🤫
Thanks for all the info. Pumped up to go this May.
Have a great time!
Thanks. Much appreciated. I liked your casual presentation. I'm on a Magnifica sailing in ten days. I'm learning from you guys.
Thank you for the kind words! We think you will really like the Magnifica! Be sure to check out that back open deck area off the buffet!
How about south point
Do you have any suggestions on cheap ears there? Would love to check it out!
@@WanderingHewitts last time I know is late hours they had ham steaks breakfast for 5.99
@@danieleakman406 thanks for the tip! We will check it out!
in the chapters, it says "mustard drill" is that an italian thing?
No, KZread will add automated chapters sometimes. It's supposed to read "Muster Drill" .
@@WanderingHewitts i giggled.
What a lovely, not too sweet not to sour, not too spicy couple you are, having the time of your life. cheers
Thank you for the kind words. We hope the videos help people decide on vacations, itineraries and maybe give a little laugh every now and then as well!
Pier runners don't deserve the attention they get. They are holding up the ship and creating stress on the crew.
Great review! I agree 110% with your opinions. MSC does get a bad reputation for food although on my many sailings with them, I've found them to be a step above. It does seem like the food quality can vary from ship to ship but I've never gone hungry and it seems as if they're really adapting more and more to the American market. I still judge any NY Strip steak by the one I had on Seaside back in November of last year. It was simply amazing! Looking forward to more reviews!
We thought the food was better this time on the Divina than it was on the Magnifica. We have some more MSC cruises planned so hopefully those trips have good food as well!
Magnifica was clean and nice. Good pizza
Definitely! The Magnifica is also one of our favorite ships!
Did you ever do a Mayan Ruins tour and which one?
I found a duck on this cruise on Deck 10 in one of the sconces. You put a huge smile on my 7yo face! He loved it! Thank you so much!!!! 😊
You are so welcome!
When we look at the Grand Canyon we see many horizontal layers on top of each other but close-ups of these layers also show that they are completely separated from each other and the layers look rather homogeneous. How is this possible? Each layer is the effect of a recurring natural disaster, a huge tidal wave that is pulled over the planet, that is caused by a celestial body that circles our sun in an eccentric orbit. A thick layer of homogeneous mud remains on our planet. The many earth layers are solid proof for this recurring disaster. Those natural disasters occur in a cycle of seven and create a cycle of five civilizations. The longest living civilization lives no more than 10,800 years. Nonsense? No, ancient knowledge and that knowledge is supported by many depictions that we find in museums on statues, cylinder seals, coins etc. The last time that this celestial body, planet X or nine, was seen and depicted was just before our era. We explain much more about planet 9, the recurring flood cycle and its timeline, the rebirth of civilizations and ancient advanced technology in the e-book: "Planet 9 = Nibiru". It shows abundant and convincing evidence both in text and many depictions. It can be read on any computer, tablet or smartphone. Search: planet 9 roest
Thank you for the tips!!
You are welcome! This was truly a majestic place.
So checkin time at 11 am? I thought it’s 2 pm?
MSC will assign a boarding time for you to prevent crowd backup getting on the ship. It might be early or later depending on your departure time. It should tell you in your web check-in/MSC account fkr your specific cruise.
Just got off off the MSC. I did the $109. Deal for 4 nights. They didn't even charge me a single supplement . Had a blast 🎉
Great to hear! If people watch the website, MSC does have some really great flash sales!
I’ve been to Truman little White House before. It was a fun tour
Have you done any other attractions like the lighthouse or the Hemingway house? We are looking to see where to go the next time we are in Key West.
@@WanderingHewitts I was there for such a short period of time that I only walked around downtown, got a massage, a meal and did the Truman house. I guess I did do the sponge store and the southernmost point buoy.
@@incantations446 It's a port that we would love to go back to!
I really enjoyed the video .Great Post!.. Here are the questions I have before going,,because I can' t find the answers online anywhere. Once you leave Hoover Dam and head to the west rim.. Is there anyplace to stop and see the canyon without going all the way into the reservation. We have group from Canada coming--NONE of them want to do the Skywalk.. and we don't really have time to go though that whole thing with the shuttle buses. They would just like to look down and see the river. If you can't see the canyon without going into the Tribal lands--how much is it per person.. Thanks in advance.. and again ..thank you for sharing your experience.
Thanks for the questions. No, we don't believe there are any places to see the canyon on the west side without paying the entrance fee. Not sure about the North or South Rims but I believe those are under National parks and will also require a fee to enter. The entrance price for the West rim was in the low $50 range per person from what we remembered. There are also buses that will take you from places like Las Vegas as a package if you don't have a car. Here is the link to the ticket prices for the West Rim. tickets.grandcanyonwest.com/webstore/shop/viewItems.aspx?cg=CWS&c=CWSGCW
I really enjoyed this video thanks! We join Divina in 11 days time for a transatlantic. It will be our first cruise with MSC.
Thanks for the kind words. Yes, the Divina is a lovely ship. The adult only garden pool area on the back of the ship in our opinion is one of the nicer spots along with the Solarium if it's cooler outside . Have fun!
@@WanderingHewitts that is very useful information thanks! We had been wondering where a good spot would be to watch the lights of Miami disappear over the stern as we sail away and the adults only garden pool sounds like the perfect place. Thanks again!
I went on MSC for the first time in Feb. I loved it all! The buffet was great! The lunch buffet had so much variety and the pizza was the best we’ve had at sea. We upgraded to the streaming Wi-Fi and it worked great. The muster drill went very smoothly. The only thing I did not like was walking down the stairs but I’m glad we did because if there is a real emergency, we wud only be using the stairs. The elevators were great. Never had to wait for an elevator. All worked great. I thought there would be a problem especially after the shows. Like you said embarking and disembarking was a breeze. And like you said it’s very affordable. MSC is my new ship. We have booked another one.
Yes, we just got off the MSC Divina 2 weeks ago and booked one for Fall!
