    My Cochlear CP1110 has been working really well for a year. Now I cannot get it to pair with my Apple phone - the one it has worked with all along. I followed the pairing instructions and when I got to the point where I selected "pair" the next thing I see is a continuously spinning wheel. It has been several minutes and it is still spinning.

    Hello Khirman, thank you for your comment. I understand that you are wondering why there is a need for the drying desiccant in the Dry & Store by Zephyr. That is a wonderful question. The desiccant lowers the humidity and captures the moisture released during the drying cycle. Hi, When I connect my Cochlear TV streamer using the analog Cable to my Laptop audio output port, sound is not coming to my OSIA 2 processor. Hello Kazi, thank you for your comment. I understand you are using your Osia 2 with the TV Streamer and your laptop. I understand the orange light is on the streamer indicating it is receiving the audio. It seems as though it is ready to be working. Possibly you have not yet activated streaming. You can do that in the Osia Smart App by clicking on the TV icon. Does the app reflect that you are actively streaming with the TV Streamer when you do that, and it is still not working? Hi there! I'm a new bilateral implant recipient and about to get the Kanso 2. Couple of questions: 1. Can you charge the portable charger on a normal USB outlet? 2. Also, I have a nucleus 8 on the other side, so wondering if when travelling I can charge Kanso 2 via portable charger and leave it in the nucleus drybox overnight? Would be great if the Kanso 2 could be charged via USB...

  • @CochlearAmericas
    @CochlearAmericas26 күн бұрын

    Hi Caren, thank you for your comment. I understand you are getting the Kanso 2 soon and have a couple questions regarding the chargers. The Portable Charger can be plugged into the Home Charger to charge. However, you do not have to do that. You will be able to charge the Portable Charger using the USB cable and a standard power adapter in the wall. When traveling you will be able to use the Portable Charger. However, you wouldn't want to put the Kanso 2 in the Nucleus Dry Box due to the Kanso 2 internal battery. Unless you are submerging the Kanso 2 in water, it won't be a problem to go a few days or so without drying it in the Home Charger. It seems the intention is to not have to bring the Home Charger when traveling and that is okay to do, as long as you have the Portable Charger and don't plan on getting the Kanso 2 wet. Please feel free to contact us directly at 1-800-483-3123, you can send an email to [email protected], or Live Chat on our online store, 8am to 5pm MT. @@CochlearAmericas I got an answer finally yesterday and it’s currently being addressed. The only thing I can say is that it is obvious that non-cochlear implant users are the ones who engineered this processor. A rechargeable battery that only lasts 12 hours max with no disposable battery options or even any other options to charge besides this bulky charger. It’s not embarrassing to wear the charger in public because I need to do it but on the other hand, you feel everyone’s eyes diverting towards the charger and I’ll even get asked what tunes I’m listening to on my “MP3 player”. It is very bulky and the corded portion coming from behind your head is not a good look aesthetically. It gets in the way of doing things at work as I am required to wear a hard hat everyday and it has to sit just right to prevent the hard hat from knocking my hooked up processor off. I can’t even go anywhere without electricity due to worrying about how long my processor battery is going to last such as going on a camping trip out in the woods for the weekend because I wouldn’t have the option to charge both processor and charger. I even go without wearing my processor at home sitting in its charger base before I go out to the bars or something to ensure I don’t run out of battery and having to put my portable charger on in front of other people. Like I mentioned in the previous comment, this is the best processor I’ve ever had in terms of aesthetics, sound, quality, etc but the battery/charging options are god-awful. Thank you for reading the comments and I sincerely hope that my comment gets forwarded to the development team because I do feel this would resonate with many other Kanso 2 users.
